Mash Those Buttons

With her new title of Chieftain, Aloy heads to Thunder's Drum with Aratak and Ourea. After fighting their way past machines, they are able to get past the Cauldron door that stopped the Werak before. Inside, they are able to discover the identity of the spirit, as well as the identity of the daemon, and what its using the facility for. And to make it a party, the daemon invited a new elite killing machine.

We've made it to Ourea's retreat where we get a glimpse of the Spirit of the Blue Light. Ourea fills us in on some details, but in order to help the spirit we'll need to challenge Aratak for control of the Werak. For an outlander, that will take some work. Aloy looks for ways around the Cut to impress the Werak, and after that, we go head to head in a hunting challenge with Aratak.

On this episode we start our journey in The Frozen Wilds DLC. Aloy heads to The Cut to investigate reports of talking spirits and new, vicious machines. We'll meet some new major players like Banuk Chieftain Aratak, as well ask discover new machines, and come across something that's like corruption, but different.

StaticGorilla and Crashtag return for another episode of Double Tap, a podcast dedicated to the FGC. First we start out in the Fighters Corner with King of Fighter's XV early impressions and check out a special short video and Guilty Gear Strive fixes some of the bugs and we review the finalists for top 8 of Arc Revo. Another upcoming event is the Team Draft Tournament for DBFZ where Android 21 (Labcoat) will also be shown off and a mysterious countdown to the Capcom Cup Finals appeared. Finally, we received answer one of your community questions, where we revisit a previous topic about starting your own community and building your own fighting game scene.

Pull up a stool, charge your glasses and get comfortable as Happy Hour Episode 43 is here for your listening pleasure. That's right - Mike, Luke and Rob are back for more podcast-based shenanigans, with alcohol aplenty. There is an exclusion this week though, as for reasons unknown, Brad decides to be completely sober for the entirety of this episode. Shame!! This week the lads talk about the latest trailers for Jurassic World:Dominion, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Adam Project, and the Atomic Heart game trailer. There is also a bit of chatter around the BRIT awards collaboration between Ed Sheeran and Bring Me the Horizon. Oh, and at the end of the show Mike and Luke get into a rant about The Matrix 4, Tick, Tick...Boom and Mike's terrible use of the English language. Like what you hear? This is it. Everything has led to this. Hades and the Eclipse are preparing to attack Meridian, and Aloy and her allies are preparing to protect it and the Spire. Armed with the Master Override, Aloy is prepared to take out Hades, but also gets an opportunity to get revenge on Helis.

Now that we know what happened to GAIA and the rest of the terraforming system, we head to GAIA Prime to search for the Master Override so we can stop Hades. Inside, we also learn the fate of Elisabet Sobeck and the Alphas, and find out why APOLLO went offline. Finally, Sylens finally tells us the truth about how he was involved with the Eclipse.

Aloy heads back to the Sacred Land, but its different this time. It's under attack by the Eclipse, and the Nora have retreated into All-Mother. After cutting through the attack, Aloy is able to enter All-Mother and finally get answers she has been searching for her entire life. Aloy also learns the key to defeating Hades, and where to find it.

Hoo boy, we're back with part four of our deep (and still very spoiler-y) walk through ... Endwalker. In this episode we're covering the goings on from about levels 85 to 87 in the story, and there's a heck of a lot to cover. We've got dog takes, Ascian takes, and thoughts on which parts of the story were more or less impactful after some fetch quests.
