The Carolina Hurricanes look to bounce back from their Game 1 loss of the Eastern Conference Final in Game 2 on Thursday night at home. Before the series shifts to Sunrise, Florida, Game 2 is massive for the Hurricanes if they want to split the series 1-1 and not be down 0-2 going into the weekend. On the Thursday Edition of Locked On Hurricanes, host Zach Martin will cover three reasons why the Hurricanes can even up the series before it heads down to Florida. First, the Hurricanes will need to play their game; they tried to play the Panthers' style of hitting everything that moves, and it's not their style. Secondly, they need to capitalize on their chances and make Sergei Bobrovsky work by making him go back-and-forth in the net. Don't just shoot at his chest like Game 1. Quality over Quantity will go a long way. Lastly, the depth and special teams that have been big for Carolina up to this point need to step up again. They cannot give up 2 power-play goals, and only have the top line do all the work. It's going to have to be a full team effort.
