Part two of a two-part series with filmmaker Alex Gray reviewing the creation of the documentary “Masterpiece: Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns.”  In this episode, we hear the compelling story of meeting the legendary Frank Miller in his New York home for the filming of his interview.  And then Alex recounts his interviews with DC stalwarts Janette Kahn, Denny O’Neil, Bruce Timm, Mike Carlin,  Grant Morrison, and others.  This is followed by a discussion of the narrator choice of Malcolm McDowell.  We also take a detailed look at the production design, editorial, and reenactments within the documentary.
