  • The Matt Duffin Show - Resserection Day alongside Deborah Berry
Hippy Easter!  Hoppy, Happy, HooRah! Easter Day.  Jesus was Resurrected this day 2017 years ago - and somewhere your Survivor-self did too since then.  Resurrected, not reincarnated - that's another show.  Remember, Jesus shared all - resurrection isn't a private Jewish thing.   Eggs found and food ate, dishes washed.  Choco Bunny's chomped; Easter is over, unless you're listening in.  Because it is NOT over to these TBI's.  Hillbilly Jim will call as preparations for Cookin' for a Cure BBQ for Dementia/CTE update, Kansas City area April 29th.  Jennifer Goodman, my adorable co-host and myself, uh, radio of course coming with us, and WCTV will allow me to video the event for Brain Mechanics.  Hoping Kim & Gary too.   Deborah Berry will join us, working recovery from a series of issues, yet always busy at work as well.  Video, Audio and more to come.  If you've not listened to Deborah one-on-one, you've not understood recovery the human way.  She is a star.  Author, Producer, Self-Help GURU!  Oh, sings like a bird too - "MAX - 'shew'."  Deb worked with us together in the early days of braininjuryradio.com.  MY EARLY DAYS?  Deb worked with me from my laptop in the Trauma Center - I NEEDED ANSWERS and now!  As my Life Coach, she's still working on that one.  Perhaps with the coming health, her Life Coaching Skills will return as well.  It's a baby step world we live in.  Something tells me as far as the routine 'rock' show - it will be a gem along the Easter, Parade. Call us, (424) 243-9540 and press 1 to talk.   Or, just listen.  Skype us, text me, or the multi-ways of video chat ways.  Yahoo kinda weak.  Oooooooo, I know...   (424)  243-9540 is a Toll-Free Number (unless you pay our bills).

  • The Matt Duffin & Jen Show: Kevin Wurster provides Healthy Recovery
The continuing saga of Brain Injury continues, of course, on TMDS & Jen (yes, I change the show's name - wow, at least 100 cohosts and never done that before) during Brain Injury Awareness Month  - - - and beyond!  We're taking our TBI's back home again to Indiana where we meet up with Kevin Wurster of Brownsburg.  In May of 2014, less than a year after being saved, he was involved in a criminal attack, which resulted in a TBI.  [email protected] will get you in touch with Kevin.   He has mixed a variety of Anti-Oxine vegetables and fruits that destroy cancer enzymes, and personally researched, and discovered an applicable study of medicine for TBI's - it worked for him!  Also involved legally with CBD powder as a daily dose of medicine, for Frontal Lobe damage with he reports as strengthing daily.  E-Mails thru the end of the Month with PROVEN medical issues, Kevin will set you up with a free doses of juice and power - the FBI is aware of his work.  More details ON AIR!   Jennifer is going to visit the Downtown Milton Studio's - for a day.  We're going to Hillbilly Jim's 'hoe down' at the end of April in Missouri.  Plan on taping the event for a "BBQ - Cure For Dementia" and April 30th TMDS (& Jen) will be a square-dancin' beauty.  Maybe give the 4th caller a BBQ Pork Chop I'll steal.  But I better be quick, and duck, quick and duck.  Jim Smith is a big ol' boy!  Er, man.   (424) 243-9540.  Call us.  We'll talk about it all - I love to ramble.  Jen's interview with Kevin will be wonderful, and I'm sure there will be "interuptions" from the origional host.  14 of 16 Sweet 16 Picks,  I rocked!   Today?  I'm setting empty going into next week's Final Four...

  • The Matt Duffin Show - Being NORML with Fred Pfeninger
Let's talk pot, weed, cannabis, medical and recreational marijuana in America.  27 States agree with Medical MJ for up to 27 chronic conditions, or as low as one - seizures.  Cancer discussions of a cure are often off and on the table.  Colorado see's an influx of citizens in search of medication.  The medical migration looks for a better quality of life, legal life.  Indiana NORML Vice President Fred Pfenniger is our guest, and Jen has questions prepared as she live's in a 'dry' State like Fred and I do.  Finally, SB15 has made it to the Indiana Senate floor.  6 States ignore totally.  More States than not, plus the Capitol of America, recognize legal distribution of Cannabis for medical, or recreational use. • The Matt Duffin Show - Sharen Wendy Rerturns - Let's Be UPP!
Friend of the Show, Mother, Star, Survivor, Thriver (times a zillion), well, children's television show host turned singer/songwriter/carpenter Miss Sharen Wendy Robertson graces us tonight to discuss life, liberty, and getting yourself UPP!  Yes, I spelled it right (spell check), UPP.  Uniting People for Peace.    A determined Harvard graduate, Sharen was Boston Strong before the community realized how strong it could be.  Her internationally recognized song "It's Love" was proudly debued on TMDS, and rose to #17 on the charts.   You're in her feelings, as Sharen became an Aneurysm Survivor herself last Spring, oddly after the release of her so meaningful song.  They are all meaningful, and it's SHWENDY NIGHT again for music tonight.  In respect to Alabama, (being nice Jen); "That's what songs I want to here - Free Bird I am... Jennifer is awaiting your call.  Sharen will explain the world-wide organization UPP, their upcoming concert and rally in August and would like to talk too.  I'll just sit back and brush my long hair cat, be quiet and all... Brain Injury Awareness Month - yes, you're aware.  Let's make everyone be away.  You are a proud example of life!

  • The Matt Duffin Show - Real News With Our Guest Alisa Marie
The studio is filled with beautiful survivors of brain injury, and me. I like the "and me" part because joining Jennifer Goodman and I tonight is the precious Alisa Marie. She'll discuss much, including her BI's, her work for BI's and The Learning Man play, Art with TBI, and her life.   Alan Wilbar is a brain injury survivor, and 'The Learning Man' she works with. Hoping he calls as well.  He's Alisa's "better half" who fell from a circus tent top, nearly 50-feet in 1988. Survived, obviously. Yet I got to say, well, HA! Alan, I got ya by 3-feet!   Alisa Marie, a beautiful and brilliant survivor of New Hampshire, has now been told Parkinsons's Disease, an acquired brain disorder, will become "just another chapter in my life, just like my traumatic brain injury, it will not have me!" She offers "I am not my brain injury and I am not this disease. I just have it."   Jen Goodman, my angel sent me a co-host, will conduct the interview, then talk PBA, and emotional disruption caused by brain injury. I'll try to talk, but it's looking like girls night.... Call, boy or girl, lady or man. Transgender - and we do not care what phone booth you walk in. (424) 243-9540 and press 1 to talk. Or, no 1, just listen. BUT, my fingers have been known to slip.

  • The Matt Duffin Show - A Madhouse of Tweets and Twits
Jen returns for 'medical absence' to lead the show in a new direction, or possibly, the same direction.  Do we have a direction?   My direction is full of a half-witted brain, concussed yet refusing to accept the bumps and bangs because I DON"T HAVE TIME TO WAIT!  Let's face it, we feel at times we're on borrowed times, and time is of the essense.  We are prepared, or at least MORE prepared to die, because, well, we have died - saw the lights, crossed over, saw Jesus and talked to God.  One day, death will be final.  That's why I feel  there is only so much time.  The stress will evaporate any emotional well being or control.  424  243-9540.   For four hours of that time, Jeniffer Goodman, myself and YOU are going to discuss on an emotional topic for folks with TBI - the loosely tied together emotions crossing the scans of your brain.  I will discuss Indiana Senate Bill 15 and a get together, or avoid-together of Support for Survivors.    When that 3 hours and 52 minutes is over, I'll play some music.  Visited Hard Rock Indy for lunch last week.  The Jackson Five will make the play list, Johnny Post-Cougar Melencamp and Farm Aid too...
