I wrote this song for my first charity CD 'Rainbows of hope'. The song is sung by Heta Salkolahti from Finland, a singer/songwriter I met in 2010 at an AORTAS residential songwriting course held in Milton Keynes UK. She plays a wonderful violin solo in the song which she composed. The arrangement of my melody, and it is played by James Gladson.

This is a song that I had written in 2004 for a musical that I planned to write about family relationships. This year I have collaborated with James Gladson to update the songs and he has arranged and played my melody. The song is about a young man who is being held hostage in a foreign country and believes that he is about to die.

This song is one that I have written for a musical about relationships. I think that I shocked my music director at first with the title but it was great fun to write, I tried to be the character for a few minutes and wrote it for me. Ha! Ha! I am so lucky that Bee has recorded all the songs for the musical to be sung by the female characters.

In 2004 I dreamed of writing a musical and wrote 20 songs with this in mind but was too busy nursing, being a mum and a granny. This year in collaboration with James Gladson my musical director/producer I have rewritten most of the songs to enable them to be updated and suit his wonderful arrangements of my melodies.
