The Dallas Mavericks fall to 6-4 after an ugly loss to the Orlando Magic. The Mavs are without Christian Wood on this road trip and our offense looked putrid in his absence.

The Mavs are now 1-3 on the road as they head up the East coast to play Kristaps Porzingis and the Washington Wizards.

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Brooklyn Nets for the second time this season and have now won 4 in a row. The team still hasn't reached its final form and a blowout would be nice, but we'll take the Ws. The team now sits at 6-3 as we prepare for round 2 against the Orlando Magic.

We are now three weeks into the NBA season and the Mavs have climbed to 5-3. Last week we said that if we won one game we would feel good and we beat both the Raptors and the Jazz. Needless to say, we are feeling pretty great overall.

We are only 8 games into the season so according to coach Jason Kidd, we are still within his window to tinker and figure things out. There are still a few issues with the rotations that seem to require attention but we'll see what happens this week.

Even when the cheddar's looking tighter than Speedos, I remain G-Code. Neato.

None of you will get that reference but if you do, kudos. The Mavs moved to 5-3 after sweeping the short week and all is well in Mavs land.

The Mavs move about .500 to 4-3 with a win over a hot Utah Jazz team. It's a big win that will buy the Mavs some goodwill for at least two days. Dwight Powell was pivotal in this matchup and got his respect from Bibs in this recap.

It wasn't all good though. On the back half of the pod, Bibs did address the guys who have not gotten it going this year.

Two weeks into the NBA season the Mavs sit at a respectable or disappointing 3-3 depending on where you fall on the optimism scale. This past week the Mavs lost to the Pelicans without 3 starters, including their two All-Star talents then lost to the Thunder without Josh Giddey by collapsing late. However, they did beat the Nets and Magic, who are a combined 2-10.

After two weeks, the Mavs' only victory against an above .500 team in their win over the 4-2 Grizzlies with no Jaren Jackson, Jr. on the second night of a back-to-back. However, they have not lost to a below .500 team with the Thunder currently sitting at 3-3, the Pelicans at 4-2, and the Suns at 5-1.

Whichever way you want to look at it, you can at least admit that the team has some work to do to reach its full potential.

In this week's episode, Bibs and Reese recap the Magic game before going through the league's current standings. They then get into their weekly segments, the Unsung Hero and Weekly forecast. As well as a brief "Tweets are Talking" segment.

The Mavericks move to 2-2 on the year after gutting out a win in overtime up in Brooklyn. The Nets have had their issues to start the year and their fans seem discouraged despite the loss, but how are Mavs fans feeling?

The Mavs fall to 1-2 after losing to the Pelicans without Zion, Brandon Ingram, or Herb Jones. The Pelicans came out like their pride was on the line and the Mavs came out like they were drunk.

We are BACK to our regularly scheduled program! It is week one of the 2022-2023 NBA Season and the Dallas Mavericks are off to a 1-1 start after 2 games. They got out to big leads in both of their first two games but they blew the lead the first time around.

After a loss to the Suns that felt like it was self-inflicted, the Mavs blew the doors off the Grizzlies and appear to be closer to the dominant team that played on Saturday than the team that showed up in the second half of the Suns game. The Outsiders do spend some time going over those games but not much time since we're doing post-game recaps now. If you want those details, check the feed.

Before we got into the basketball though, Reese had to explain why he wasn't there for the Grizzlies recap and that ran longer than expected.

This year we kicked off the Mavs Outsiders Fantasy League and in order to keep that league interactive we ran down the scores from this past week.

Then we got back to our regular season segments which you have not heard in months. Reese picked an Unsung Hero (that may or may not have been that unsung) and Bibs ran down the Weekly Forecast for this 4-game week.
