  • Demons
They're waiting for us when we need to do our work in the dark. How do we deal with them and ultimately put them in their place?

  • Does Zwift lower your Threshold?
It did for this particular individual. They eventually shook it off pretty well though. Here's the link to the interview I reference in the episode:http://feeds.soundcloud.com/stream/827537404-turbotalks-ashleigh-moolman-pasio-talks-all-things-zwift-ep-35.mp3

  • Is your absolute best enough?
Effort. It's the most stable metric we can focus on when performing. When we give our absolute best we can be satisfied with our performance. Sometimes however we ask ourselves if our best will be good enough.

  • Tyler Hamilton interview

Tyler Hamilton is a former American professional cyclist who had stints on U.S. Postal, Team CSC and Phonak during his career. Tyler rode with Lance Armstrong while at U.S. Postal and helped Lance win 3 Tours de France. Hamilton would achieve some stellar results himself winning Liege Bastogne Liege in 2003 and the Olympic Time Trail in 2004. His best results in a Grand Tour were 4th overall in the 2003 Tour de France and 2nd overall in the 2002 Giro d' Italia. Hamilton has since been stripped of some of his results as a consequence of his admission to using performance enhancing drugs during his career.

In our conversation we chat about many different things, including Tyler's introduction to cycling and the ups and downs of his career. We also discuss what his transition from the sport looked like and what he is currently doing with his time.
