St. Pete Mayor Ken Welch had his State of the City address on Monday where he announced his pick for the redevelopment of the site of which Tropicana Field sits on, giving his good graces to the Rays/Hines joint project as things hopefully are looking forward toward finding a  new, permanent home for the Rays in Tampa Bay.

We had on St. Pete Nine's Steve Carney to talk about the events of Monday and talk about what a potential stadium/stadium district in St. Pete might look like in the foreseeable future, plus a timeline of what is now set to happen.
