McAnally's Pubcast

We're changing things up a little bit this week. We had some technical difficulties with the first recording of the scheduled episode. Then we got horribly distracted and came up with this masterpiece.

We will resume our regular Dresden discussions next week!

As we've briefly mentioned, our 100th episode is upon us, and we are insanely proud of ourselves!

To celebrate, we want to send out some merch to a few lucky random listeners. All you've got to do to enter is follow us on Twitter @mcanallypubcast or Instagram @mcanallyspubcast and like the giveaway post. It's super simple because we just want to say thank you so much for giving us a reason to do these last 100 episodes, and a reason to do 100 more.

So if you're interested in a thematic McAnally's LIMITED EDITION mug, make sure to go track down one or both of those posts.

Simultaneously we will be running a giveaway in our discord. Everyone that has been active in the Discord for the last 100 days is already automatically entered in the drawing. If you’d like to be entered as well, you have the rest of April to participate in the chats on Discord, even if it’s just to say hello! You can find a link for our Discord on our website at mcanallys.ca.

And finally, those of you in our Patreon automatically have an additional entry for something extra special. If you haven’t signed up for our Patreon, it’s not too late to get in on that chance for something fabulous! Find us our Patreon @ freeflowrambling.  💕💕

That's a total of 4 giveaways! All of which are open worldwide so click that like button, interact in the discord, or sign up for a Patreon -  and just plain listen to the new episodes! With lots of love, Maggie, Tansenn and Jes.

You have until April 30th and we will announce our winners during the May 5th episode!

We examine Chapter 16 in which Murphy goes on vacation and plays the opposite game, and Harry gets invited to a gala by his ex.

Harry returns to his apartment and finds Murphy there. She lets him know she’s been pulled off the case and provides him with some additional information on the case. Harry talks with Susan on the phone. She has found information on a suspicious auction and invites Harry to come investigate.

We look at Chapter 15 in which Harry is caught peeping from the treehouse, is schooled by a naughty catholic and reminisces his 80s fashion.

Harry goes to Michaels to speak with him about the Duel. Harry finds the home suspiciously empty. While investigating from the tree house he is found by Molly and eventually Charity comes home from errands. On Charity’s word, Shiro offers to act as Dresden’s second in the duel.

We discuss chapter 14 in which Dresden contemplates costumed microbiomes, and considers a long term vacation in the southern hemisphere.

Harry makes it back home in time to answer a call from Waldo Butters telling him the germs from the corpse have disappeared. Susan comes for a visit and the two come to an agreement about their future.

Here we discuss Chapter 13 in which Dresden watches a Denarian perform acts of extreme BDSM, loses a bedsheet and gets another concussion.

A female Denarian attacks Harry and the two women in the boat. She kills one of the women and absconds with the fake lockbox. The boat begins to take on water and the surviving thief Anna briefly debilitates Harry and makes her escape with the Shroud.

Here we look at Chapter 11 where Dresden spends time on the telephone hoping for the best, and becomes a professional voyeur.

Dresden contacts Father Vincent and updates him on the case and asks for a sample of the Shroud. Harry calls Michael next to ask him to be his second for the upcoming duel and instead leaves the message with Charity.

Dresden makes his way to Burnham Harbor and finds the Etranger. Inside the boat he finds a lone woman who gets into the shower. Harry takes advantage of this distraction and searches the cabin. Harry finds the shroud but is quickly ambushed and detained by a second woman.

Here we discuss Chapter 10 in which Dresden learns the finer details of dueling with an exceptionally above average child obsessed with cats.

The Archive and her hired man Kincaid make a visit to Dresden at his apartment. The Archive requests to know Dresden’s second for the duel and informs him he needs one by sundown or his life is forfeit. She next asks him what his weapon of choice is, which Dresden choses Energy despite The Archives warnings.

Here we discuss Chapter 9 in which Dresden lets his opinions about Meatloaf known and reminisces about his time at the farm.

Harry contemplates the prophecy but puts little stock into it. Instead, he prepares an anti vampire venom potion and waits for Bob to return. Ebenezar calls and the two talk about the duel with Ortega. Bob finally returns injured and lets Dresden know Marcone has powerful wards setup.

Here we discuss Chapter 8 in which Dresden drills Bob for information on tacky tattoos and provides booze and cigarettes to a minor's toy.

Harry returns to his apartment and gets to work in his Lab. Bob provides him information on The diseased corpse and the Denarians. Dresden then asks Bob to find the Shroud but Bob is unable to do so but tells Harry about an oracle spirit who can. Dresden calls upon this spirit and receives not only the information he seeks but is informed about a prophecy regarding his involvement with the Shroud.
