Here we start to discuss Chapter 26 in which Harry and Susan make plans and talk about SKA music but instead we mostly get distracted

Dresden finds out from Susan what happened after they left the Hotel. They plan to go to Michaels and then try to rescue Shiro once the wards come down.

We discuss Chapter 24 & 25 in which Dresden unintentionally traps Susan and him in a makeshift dungeon and shows off his rope kink.

Susan and Harry land safely out of the moving vehicle. As they start to make their way to Harry’s apartment, they are hit by a bad luck curse. The pair manage to escape from harm into Dresden’s apartment where he enacts a protection spell, effectively trapping the two of them inside.

Dresden is forced to restrain Susan with magical bindings as she has begun to lose control and desperately wants to feed on him. The pair are unable to hold back their yearning for one another and succumb to their desires.

In Chapter 23 we discuss Harry's zappy trick sword, the evils of monthly record clubs, and the importance of purchasing rental insurance.

Harry manages to fight off another goon. Susan arrives just in time  to help get him out of Undertown. They make it to the streets where Martin picks them up and takes them to Dresden’s apartment.

Here we discuss Chapter 22 in which Shiro sacrifices himself for Dresden to the Denarians.

As Harry is about to be executed by Nicodemus, Shiro comes to the rescue. Shiro offers to trade himself in place of Dresden and allows for Dresden to escape.

We discuss Chapter 21 in which Harry hangs out while contemplating breakfast foods, the local currency exchange and the price of health insurance.

Harry wakes up in Undertown bound and unable to use his magic. Nicodemus asks Dresden to take up one of the coins and consider all that he has to offer. Harry declines the invitation.

We discuss Chapter 20 in which Harry meets more of the 4 eyes club, finds out he's in the Matrix, gets ditched, and gets another concussion.

Harry and Anna are ambushed by three Denarians - their leader being Nicodemus. Nicodemus requests the Shroud in a standoff and eventually Dresden distracts them with an uncontrolled fire spell allowing them to escape. They make it to Susan who gets them all to the limo but at the last moment Harry is captured by Nicodemus.

Here we discuss Chapter 19 in which Harry steals little tiny sandwiches, talks up velvet artwork, and plays Die Hard with a rubber duck.

Harry and Susan arrive at the gala and scope out the venue. They sense the drop is about to happen and they go off to track down the shroud. On the way, Marcone and Harry talk and Harry learns Marcone is just as confused about his attempted assassination as Harry is. Susan and Harry end up finding Anna Valmont, as well as the Denarians and a fight ensues.

He we discuss Harry Dresden for the 100th time in Chapter 18 in which Dresden is repeatedly give notice of death, and plays 'Pretty Woman' on his way to the ball.

Kincaid and Ortega depart from McAnallys and Thomas warns Harry about Ortega before driving away. Shiro discusses with Harry the means of the duel and explains to him the war is not his fault and why. Shiro and Mac leave next, and Susan and Martin pick up Dresden to set off for the gala.

Here we discuss Chapter 17 for the fourth time after a movie, karaoke, frivolity and late night drinking. Also we talk about Dresden and stuff.

Harry and Shiro arrive at McAnallys to begin discussions for the Duel. Shiro and Thomas Raith speak with Kincaid who is acting as Ivy’s Proxy. Dresden makes an appeal to Ortega to find a way to make peace instead of dueling and Ortega counters with an offer to make Harry a vampire under his protection. Harry refuses the offer and the duel will continue.
