  • BB2 - Skill: Resonating

Within the Building Block of "Accepting Perfection As We Are", we have the skill of "Resonating." Bonnie got this tool, and modified it some, originally from Harville Hendrix with Imago therapy.
This skill is a wonderful conflict resolution tool. With three elements (reflect, validate, empathize), there is a sender and a receiver.
Bonnie and Mallika show you in this show what that tools looks like, and explore how we might use this tool in challenging moments, and what to do when we are struggling with this skill.

  • BB2 - Skill: Context, Goal, Role

Within the Building Block of "Accepting Perfection As We Are", this episode defines and explores "Context, Goal, Role".
Using "CGR" helps us regulate our emotions and feelings by taking a dispassionate approach to what's happening around and inside you. Observe, gather facts, and look at what our goals are.
Mallika shares a real life example to illustrate where CGR can be helpful.

  • BB1 - Skill: Fork-In-The-Road

In today's teaching, Bonnie and Mallika discuss the frame/tool "Fork In The Road."

This tool helps us catch the moment where we "fall off the horse" and start suffering more. This is a pivotal moment, and one that can be of great help to be more aware of!
When we catch ourselves at the fork-in-the-road, we have an opportunity to check with ourselves, and ask, "Am I having any fun right now?"
And if not, we might take a different path that helps us have more fun.
The "Fork-In-The-Road" skill allows us to access possible choices that will reduce our suffering, or maybe even get us out of it.

How does seeing the system help us have more fun and satisfaction?
