DJ Mead also reads some of the old parody school newsletters that he wrote in secondary school called Big Boi News.

We discuss the upcoming Demon Media Committee Elections where Lord Corey Kaine West has put his name forward to be the next Chairperson of Demon Media. Lord Jackson interviews Lord West about his campaign to become chairperson.

Later we discuss the media industry, specifically discussing the future of cinemas and streaming services. Lord West also discusses his idea of opening his own cinema in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

We finish the show off with a talk about gaming and our favourite games consoles. We discuss the Xbox 360 vs PlayStation 3, the significance of party chat, the Nintendo Switch vs the Steam Deck, and whether modern consoles are becoming more like PCs.

On the Geography Special of Mead & Cheese we have Thomas Dye, Ed Woodiwiss and Louise Hunt from the Demon FM show TGIF (Thank God It’s Friday).

We play Pitch Invasion where the guests must pitch a new film titled The Death of Ciaran Shea.

We discuss with our guests their views on mead and what their favourite cheeses are.

Later in the show we are joined by Wi-Fi expert Sage Brown.

Lord Cheese prepares a Transformers quiz for everyone to take part in.

We also ask our Mead & Cheese listeners whether they are Team Autobot or Team Decepticon and what their favourite Transformer is.

Also, in this show we discuss what vehicles we would be if we were Transformers before we have the guests play Pitch Invasion where they pitch a Transformers movie starring Mead & Cheese.

Sonic the Hedgehog may also be discussed as well as Wrestlemania. We finish the episode with a debate about the metric system versus the imperial system of measurements as well as pre-decimalised money.

Because DJ Mead and DJ Cheese arrive late yet again, Ed and Hugo start the episode as Cider and Biscuits.

Once Mead & Cheese finally gets under way we are joined by Ashfield-based mead brewer Connor Delia who has brought some of his homebrewed Fjord Mead for everyone to try and review.

Connor teaches us about his the homebrewing process of how he makes his mead as we also discuss many other homebrewing and mead facts.

In this episode we also debate historic British prime ministers and what their favourite cheeses would have been.

Finally, it is the grand final of the Great Cheese War where we see Cheddar VS Red Leicester! The great British public will finally decide which cheese is the ultimate cheese!

Ciaran Shea takes over Mead & Cheese for a little while until DJ Mead and DJ Cheese make it to the studio.

It is also the semi-final of the Great Cheese War where Red Leicester is facing Halloumi.

We talk about many things, including Ciaran Shea’s upcoming short film, Dead Air, which will star Lord Corey Kaine West (DJ Mead) as the villainous radio host Pat.

Lord Thomas Alec Jackson (DJ Cheese) is also dressed as Batman while we all discuss our favourite Batman films and talk about the new film, The Batman (2022).

We also come up with a new, original segment called Pitch Invasion, where the guests in the studio must pitch to us their ideas for the Mead & Cheese the Movie.

A Mead & Cheese classic game also returns as we play Two Truths and a Lie. Ciaran Shea then subverts this classic game and gives us Two Lies and a Truth.

It is the Hacking Special, so in honour of this occasion we are joined once again by Brandon and Ollie from the DMU Hackers Society.

Brandon and Ollie go head-to-head in DJ Mead’s Hacking Quiz to determine who is the ‘ultimate hacker’.

We also are joined by the returning guests Hugo, Maddie, Ed and DJ Ya Boi! (Evan). During this show everyone in the studio will say what they like about each other. Evan may even break Ofcom rules once again, forcing us to do the Official DemonFM Ofcom Apology in Stereo Sound™.

Quizzes, trivia and banter ensue

In this episode of Mead & Cheese we are continuing the Great Cheese War, where Red Leicester faces off against Stilton. It is also The Beatles special where we talk about all things Beatles on George Harrison’s birthday.

We debate who our favourite member of the Beatles is and discuss Ringo Starr’s excellent performance in Thomas the Tank Engine, leading to a debate on which train is the best on the island of Sodor.

There is also a special interview with Alistair Brown, aka ‘Apollo Nithercott’, from The Nithercotts. Alistair discusses how he became a Beatles fan and answers many Beatles related questions such as “Who sang the ahs in A Day in the Life?”, “Is the secretary temporary?”, “Is Magical Mystery Tour an album?”

We also spend much time talking about politics and our favourite prime ministers. We also discuss the breaking of Ofcom radio rules and read the official DemonFM Ofcom apology.
