A San Francisco Bay Area quilter and fiber artist, Lorraine didn’t start quilting until the 2020 lockdowns— but once she did, she found her voice in bold, statement-making quilts. With a background in garment sewing, she blends traditional quilting techniques with powerful text and repurposed materials to bring important messages into visible spaces.  

Lorraine wears many hats: quilter, teacher, and advocate for upcycling in fiber arts. Her work has been featured in exhibitions across the country, pushing the boundaries of what quilting can be. We dive into her journey, her creative process, and why she believes quilts are more than just blankets—they're a platform for storytelling and change.
