Fear is My Homeboy® turned one-year-old on 5/28/20 and I figured there was no better way to celebrate than to have Mel Robbins on the show!   She was one of my first big book endorsements and for well over 5 years I have considered her to be one of my most influential virtual mentors as I’ve grown my business.

No one tells you that when you write a book YOU are responsible for your own endorsements.   The more famous you are the easier that gets b/c you become known and trusted and have a platform that gives you street cred. But when you are a newbie and don’t know any of the big fancy people that can give you big fancy endorsements, you have to get creative.

I did and ended up getting Mel-freaking-Robbins to endorse my book and am beyond proud she is featured on the books front cover.   Recording this episode with Mel was so much fun and it was also years of hard work coming together to create an opportunity that would change so much for me.
