Behind the money, the social media fame, and the picture-perfect lifestyle was a relationship filled with fights, police calls, domestic violence allegations, racist slurs, breakups, reconciliations, and ultimately a fatal stabbing.

Courtney claimed self-defense.

The evidence told a much messier story.

Within 24 hours, Adam was tied up inside his own home, robbed, begging for his life, and shot dead over televisions, an Xbox, a phone, a wallet, and a collection of baseball caps.

The Devil You Know: The Murder of Latrice Maze

When 26-year-old mother of five Latrice Maze disappeared from Grand Rapids, Michigan in March 2013, the red flags were already tap dancing.

Police had been called to her home for a domestic dispute just hours before she vanished.

Her bags were packed.

She was preparing to leave.

And her boyfriend, Jahleel Hoskins, suddenly didn't know where she was.

Mmmhmm.

Then investigators started digging.

A pending violent case.

A cousin who lied himself straight into jail.

More than 100 hours of recorded jail conversations because apparently shutting the hell up was simply not in Jahleel's ministry.

And while Latrice's family searched for answers, this wide-mouthed stale Funyun was right there...showing up to vigils and acting concerned.
