This episode is an oral history of one of VT men's basketball's most exciting games. The 80-78, double overtime victory over Virginia back in Buzz Williams' 3rd season was momentous, and came at a pivotal time for the program. Though the team had come a long way from the James Johnson era, Tech still hadn't made an NCAA tournament in 10 years. This game was instrumental in proving the Hokies could hang with the big boys, and set VT on a path to being perennial tournament participants. Enjoy this trip down Memory Lane.
