100TH EPISODE OF MENTAL SNACKS

This episode was amazing. I was able to celebrate my 100th episode by having an amazing video created by copy & steal and I also had the pleaser of sitting down with my brotha jay Pro. Jay is an amazing young man that has overcome so man obstacles by taking each obstacle and making it an opportunity. He’s now embarking on his own mental health journey. We sat back and talked about where we started , where we are now and where we are going. We  are both going to heal and never coming back to the trauma we left. The convo gets hella deep. Jay is not a fan of therapist but makes some damn good points as to why. I  shared my journey and how i was fortunate to find the right two therapist to help get me on the right path.  Jay shared stories about being a homeless teen and how that trauma effects him now as an adult.  Its a deep episode and as we get deeper more emotions surface. This was  perfect to celebrate  episode 100 . I’m certain this episode will help somebody out there dealing with life and all it’s struggles . Let’s normalize being mentally healthy and seeking mental health services. Jay and I were able to open up the luggage but we still have a lot to unpack. I am sure we will be sitting down again.
