CVCYouth Associate Pastor Joe Valenti brings us the fifth message in the Get Fit series. Joe will be teaching us about financial fitness and how that relates to our overall fitness in our Christian walk.

Lead Pastor Chad Allen is back to share in the fourth week of the "Get Fit" series as he shares about physical fitness. The ultimate motive that should exist beneath our desire to be physically fit is not rooted in image, vanity or even feeling good. It should be driven by a desire to invest in the Lord's work and our most important relationships as long as possible. Because God has given us a mission, and He has given us one life and one body to fulfill that mission, we have a responsibility to exercise self control and maintain our body well in the areas that we have the power to do so.

Young Adults Pastor Josh Stone guides us into the third week of the Get Fit series as he looks at mental fitness from Philippians 4:4-9. Josh will show us that a fit mind thinks through a gospel filter.

Lead Pastor Chad Allen leads us into the second week of the 2015 teaching series "Get Fit." Chad will discuss emotional fitness. It comes by consistently laying the cares of our heart before the Lord. In Philippians 4:6-7, we see God invite us to lay our anxious thoughts about everything before Him in thankful prayer. As we turn our anxious thoughts over to God in prayer, our vulnerable hearts will be guarded and protected by the supernatural peace that only God can give. This results in a healthier hearts and good emotional fitness.

Founding Pastor Rick Duncan kicks off the first 2015 teaching series "Get Fit." Most of us have all under-performed. The good news is that God loves under-performers. The cross proves that He loves us just the way we are, but He loves us too much to let us stay the way we are. He wants us to pursue godliness and to become more spiritually fit. Spiritual fitness is not about appearance, it's about performance.

Lead Pastor Chad Allen closes out 2014 and ushers in 2015 with a message designed to ask God to stir in us the same heart's desire and prayers that Paul had for the lost. Pastor Chad will help us celebrate some of the events of 2014, introduce us to the latest Live New life story with Rob Shaheen, give us a 2015 vision for New Life 10 | 24, and help us prepare for the upcoming "Get Fit" teaching series. He'll be teaching from Romans 10:1, 13-17.

Young Adults Pastor Josh Stone helps bring us closer to the celebration of the birth of Jesus as he guides us through the third week of the "Light of the World" Christmas 2014 teaching series. Josh will look at John 1:14-18 as he shows us that the Glory of God is most clearly seen not in His creating power but in His indwelling Presence.

Lead Pastor Chad Allen takes us into the second week of the Light of the World Christmas 2014 teaching series. In this message Chad looks at John 1:6-13 and shows us how to be like John the Baptist, who was one who reflected the true Light. Jesus is the Light of the World. We can either choose to reject Him, receive Him and reflect Him (bear witness). God doesn't want people to experience the darkness of rejecting Him, but to experience the life and light of receiving Him which leads us to reflecting Him so that others can see, hear, believe and receive.

Lead Pastor Chad Allen launches the "Light of the World," the Christmas 2014 teaching series in John 1 with a look at verses 1-5. Christmas is a reminder of God's light bursting forth upon mankind and invading the darkness of the world. The birth of Christ reminds us that we are invited out of darkness and into the light and life Christ offers.

Founding Pastor Rick Duncan closes out the Be series on the beatitudes from Matthew 5. He'll be looking at verses 10-12 as he shows us that a westernized version of the Christian faith typically does not reflect the kind of life that Jesus lived or called us to. Becoming a follower of Jesus doesn't make our lives easier or problem-free. Instead, He's called us to follow Him, to deny ourselves, and to carry a cross. Jesus bids us to come after Him and die to self. A true Christ-follower doesn't pursue the so-called good life of prosperity and ease. Jesus says that His followers will suffer persecution. Not everyone will applaud us or like us. Pastor Rick will examine the types and degrees of persecution.
