He'll look at select passages from Genesis 35 in the life of Jacob as he receives a new name from God. We'll learn that God renames in a moment, so living that name takes a lifetime. Thus we should put on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Lead Pastor Chad Allen guides us into the fourteenth week of the Summer 2014 teaching series in the book of Genesis as he looks at select passages from Genesis 31-33. In these passages, Jacob buries the hatchet with Laban and with Esau. Chad will show us the nature of these efforts to reconcile and draw the following four applications: How can we bury the hatchet as we wrestle with God, own our part, embrace forgiveness and reap the benefits?
