Everyone experiences disappointment from things, events, and most often people. How you have handled disappointment in the past has made you what you are today. How you handle disappointment in the future will determine what you will become tomorrow.

Easter is the celebration of Jesus’ victory over death by way of His resurrection. It is by far the greatest news of all time. It guarantees the salvation of those who are believers but also guarantees the condemnation of those who are non-believers.

It was by way of the cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ that death was arrested and salvation was made available for those who believe. The Old Testament points the way to Jesus’ death, the gospels reports on the events of Jesus’ death, while the epistles gives us the reasons behind the death of Jesus.

Godly wives have great potential to motivate their husbands to become all that God desires them to be. 1 Peter 3:1 reads, “Wives…be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some (husbands) do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives.”

When it comes to understanding and meeting the needs of your wife, you as a husband, cannot approach it from your perspective. Someone has said that women are complex and men are simple. That is why 1 Peter 3:7 reads, “Husbands …dwell with (your wives) with understanding….”

Is there a difference between a Christian and a Disciple? Disciple is defined as a learner.

As parents our desire to please our children should not be mostly determined by what they wish in the present as preschoolers, children, or teenagers but in the future as young adults. Parents must see the big picture to achieve what God desires for their children. This requires unconditional, sacrificial love balanced with tough love.
