Many of those mentioned in Scripture (especially in Hebrews 11) had to overcome unimaginable obstacles to accomplish God’s intended desires for them. This would include Moses and the Israelites.

There is no greater character in the Bible who demonstrates this than Moses. This can clearly be seen in the three segments of his life. His first forty years in the house of pharaoh; his second forty years in the wilderness; and his third forty years leading God’s people in the wilderness. The first eighty years were preparation for the call of the last forty years.

The Purpose and Progress of the Church can be summed up into 2 Reflexes: “Come & See” and “Go & Tell”. Each day we are commanded to “Go & Tell” what God has done, is doing, and will do- we call this Missions. This reflex of the Church establishes its Progress.

Come & Go- These two words perfectly define the Purpose and Progress of the Kingdom of Heaven.

The word translated blessed means “happy, blissful.” In the sermon on the mount, Jesus uses the word to refer to more than a superficial happiness. In this context, blessed refers to a state of spiritual well being and prosperity.
