Graduating university, starting your career, getting married, buying a house and starting a family. This seems to be the ‘conventional‘ rite of passage set in stone for women.
These social values are still being upheld by the older generation and their feelings of righteousness to pry into quite personal aspects of a person’s life, often leaving a lot of people feeling like they have no choice but to smile, nod and give a pleasant answer.
A good friend and fellow Messie Minder Allie Lieu, joins us to talk about her personal fertility journey and her struggles with conceiving over the years, the misinformation she encountered about pregnancy and how she navigated her emotions and marriage through this process.
Truly an eye opening conversation for the girls to learn about fertility and conceiving from someone going through it first hand themselves and one that we feel everyone can benefit listening to.
You can follow Allie’s journey on @ivfbabywabbit_ @a.macaron.a.day

This week's episode is a special one because we had the opportunity to collaborate with such an honorary guest. Not only did we successfully slide into his DMs, he also made the flight down to Melbourne to be with us.
This week the Messie Minds girls sit down to unpack with Sydney's viral sensation Fooligan Kevs to discuss his music career and new music release "AZN E$hays".
The girls also probe into his childhood life, disapproving parents, rumours about how he was caught dining and dashing and lastly who Jaemie is and why people are getting them confused. Come and find out what exactly it takes to be a real Asian Eshay.

This week we sit down with Robert Pham, a Melbournian bred actor who's appeared on shows such as Neighbours, ABC's short TV series Hungry Ghosts and Waves.
Growing up Asian Australian, meant that Robert had to endure the pressures and expectations that many of us have with our Asian parents. Robert decided to go against the grain and follow his heart pursuing a humble career in acting.
Ten years into his career, he reflects on his journey with Messie Minds and offers insight into the Australian industry. An extraordinary discussion about chasing your dreams and bonus segment about transitioning into fatherhood!

Can you believe we're nearing the end of 2022? There's exactly 9 weeks left and honestly when you're working full-time and trying to schedule in a social life and many side hobbies, that's really just 10 business days on the Messie Minds calendar.
This year felt like it was equally as long as it was fast and yet so many things have happened that seemed like a lifetime ago. This week on the very last episode for the season (we know! sad times 🥺 but we will be back before you know it), the Messie Minds girls relive all the unforgettable moments of 2022 and reflect on all of the things they have achieved and have been grateful for, on the personal front.

A passing figure at the corner of your eye, an eerie feeling you can’t seem to shake off or perhaps a scary encounter you convince yourself is a coincidence. We’ve all been there before, trying to reason ourselves away.
In light of spooky season, the girls unpack all their scary recommendations, thoughts on whether Australia should embrace the Halloween holiday and their experiences with paranormal activities. So buckle up with your pumpkin spice latte and maybe keep the lights on for this one……
Do you believe in spirits or ghosts? Or is the only ghost you know is the last guy who stopped texting you? 👻

Over the last couple of years, there’s been a lot of change that has happened on a global scale which was stressful and/or scary to deal with it. It’s that feeling of finally getting used to something and then all of a sudden, things or situations can change again.
This week, Jessie and Mary invite their very experienced and nomadic friend Chau onto the podcast to chat about how she has built resilience and positivity when moving homes and entering into new social environments where you don’t know anybody or anything.
Chau offers the girls an insightful look into the world of spontaneity, a phenomenon that neither Jessie nor Mary are quite convinced they want to be acquainted with. So grab a coffee and join us for an easy breezy and entertaining ride!

Around here, we mainly catch flights not feels.
With all the restrictions being lifted across the globe, catching flights is starting to revert to normalcy and for some of us, travelling on a plane and overseas has been a foreign experience for the last couple of years. It's almost like we've forgotten how to pack a bag, but fear not! This week, the Messie Minds girls get on the mics and share their type A, serial organiser skills and tips for an orderly and planned fun-filled trip of a lifetime.
So guys and girls, get your pens and papers (or phones) ready to start taking some notes, because today you're going to learn!
