  • Ep 06 con Silvia Demetilla: Directora editorial

Directora Editorial | Escritora | Músico

    • You can also watch this episode on Youtube where English, Italian and Spanish subtitles are available or visit the Metralla Rosa website for more details.

An entrepreneur, businesswoman, dreamer and visionary, Silvia Demetilla conveys great calm and serenity when she speaks, but shows the tenacity and determination of a legion of Kamikaze soldiers when she acts.

Of Argentine nationality and with a stoic temperament, Silvia is the founder, engine and heart of La Tundra Revista, the only cultural magazine in Spanish to circulate as a physical, paper version in the UK and (since 2018) Spain – as well as the rest of the world, via its online version – undermining the conventional wisdom regarding what can and cannot survive in the publishing market....for further information about this interview, including links to anything mentioned by Silvia, or to continue reading this text in Spanish, English and Italian, visit the Metralla Rosa website.

    Actriz

    • You can also watch this episode on Youtube where English, Italian and Spanish subtitles are available or visit the Metralla Rosa website for more details.

    Actress

Gledys Ibarra is not just an actress: Gledys is the art of performance, made woman.

Her passion for acting is pure and visceral, yet her process is both thorough and profoundly intellectual.

Her thirty-odd soap operas, ten or so films and many valuable productions – whether as an actress, playwright or director – mean that everyone in Venezuela knows who she is. And Gledys is also fast becoming an increasingly well established and familiar figure throughout the rest of the Spanish-speaking world.

Famous for the sea-green eyes that give her a deep, penetrating gaze, Gledys is the embodiment of an unstoppable, powerful and irreverent femininity. She lives in a permanent state of debate between her extremes – diva of life, yet constant student of her profession, strong but always warm....for further information about this interview, including links to anything mentioned by Gledys, or to continue reading this text in Spanish, English and Italian, visit the Metralla Rosa website.

  • Ep 04 con Gabriel Moreno: Poeta, músico y cantautor

    Músico | Cantautor | Poeta

    • You can also watch this episode on Youtube where English, Italian and Spanish subtitles are available or visit the Metralla Rosa website for more details.

  • Ep 03 with Oliver Gingrich: Digital artist

    Artist

    • You can also watch this episode on Youtube where English, Italian and Spanish subtitles are available or visit the Metralla Rosa website for more details.

With a keen interest in the emerging and almost omnipresent communion that exists between visual arts and new technologies, Oliver lives and produces the totality of his work in his Notting Hill studio, in London. With a diploma in Visual Arts (Central Saint Martins), a master’s degree in Digital Arts (University of Applied Arts, Vienna) and a doctorate in Media, Oliver manages to intercept, link, and amalgamate an interesting conceptual vision into his creative offering, using an extensive variety of visual resources such as photography, digital art, acrylic painting on canvas and holographic projections.

As part of the Analema Group of artists, Oliver is able to implement projects with investigative thoroughness, causing substantial ripples in digital innovation. Using cutting-edge technology is key to these projects, but so is a need to grow and implement connections between form, light and sound. Their constant interpolation in space gives rise to highly interactive modern art experiences. The Analema Group is exhibiting ‘Kima: Noise’ from the 20th to the 24th of November 2019, an experience for the senses in the Tate Exchange on the fifth floor of the Tate Modern. Within it, the audience actively uses their senses to explore the possible bridges between form and sound. The installation also conveys the implications for mental health and overall well-being of those of us who live in heavily congested and dynamic urban areas.

We talked in detail with Oliver about ‘Kima: Noise’ and his participation in the Analema Group, as well as his interests – from an absolutely lay perspective – in the future of angels, religions and his anti-binary vision of sexual archetypes – it was highly stimulating. This interview is a tribute to creative curiosity and art that seeks to explain and express itself through social purpose and technological revolution rather than just through beauty alone.

    Now, enjoy the interview!

  • Ep 02 con l'artista Rosso Emerald Crimson

    Artista Visiva

    • You can also watch this episode on Youtube where English, Italian and Spanish subtitles are available or visit the Metralla Rosa website for more details.

Daniela Galán’s London career has been one brimming with significant challenges.

As a cultural manager, her great impulse and motivation was to work towards raising the exposure of outstanding Latin American women artists in the United Kingdom and Europe. As an artist, Daniela produces very strong, forceful work – both visually and contentwise – in which conceptual discourse is constantly intertwined with her defiant vision of the expressive potential of matter.

Joyful, inquisitive and open to all kinds of dialogue, Daniela is a dynamic woman and an activist who is fully committed to defending issues that are closest to her heart. This was best seen through her efforts to create a fair and balanced representation of the work of formidable Latin American women artists living in the diaspora, who face double discrimination on a daily basis – for cultural and gender reasons...for further information about this interview, including links to anything mentioned by Daniela, or to continue reading this text in Spanish, English and Italian, visit the Metr
