It’s that time once again – MFX is back to bring you the kind of loosely based around pro wrestling podcast that will tickle your funny bone until you squirt. So we recorded this podcast with a few specific things in mind.  First, to make you laugh a ton.  Secondly, to allow Duckman to mark out over All In like a crazed lunatic.  We achieved both of these goals!

The lads kick off the show with plenty of chat about the Roxanne Pallette Celebrity Big Brother controversy.  Don’t worry if you have no idea what that is, Sir Ian will explain all in great detail and with much hilarity.  They do shift gears as making fun of a crazy chick being crazy goes into a more serious chat about false allegations, the Me Too movement, people who need to latch onto tragedy and the evil that is social media, yeah they’re always freaking out about that, but give them a break – they’re both old as hell.

The new resident MFX Doctor Adam Wrong, WMD, emails in to talk all things medicine and share a funny story about him getting a finger shoved into an uncomfortable place by a colleague.

Then it’s time for Duckman to let loose as he gives a full review of All In, from how the show came about, to all the matches broken down, to all the storylines explained, to what this show could mean for the wrestling business and everyone involved in producing this historic show.  If you like hearing a wrestling nerd being a total nerd about wrestling, this is the show for you!

As always the show is wrapped up with the Try Hard Ruler of the Week Award.  There’s eggs being shoved places they shouldn’t be, footy clubs buying celebratory lights too early, a strange diversity hire and so much more!

Laughter, lots and lots of laughter.  The lads are in rare form this week as they kick off the show with chat about Jamie Carragher’s spitting controversy, Duckman’s interactions with famous people on Twitter recently, Ant McPartland’s latest brush with booze and the law, the poisoning of a former Russian spy in the UK, the Facebook data leak and a big chat about how dangerous Facebook has become in the hands of marketers and what that could mean for the future for all of us who use social media.  They also cover the passing of Prof Stephen Hawking and Jim Bowen from Bullseye – one of these things is not like the other.  Yep, they cover a ton of topics and bring the funny like never before.

The lads get into a chat about stuff they’ve watched recently – including Ricky Gervais’s new stand up special, Black Panther, Altered Carbon and Justice League.  Yeah, they finally watched Justice League and they bloody hated it!  They answer your emails, including setting a challenge for you to name your MFX Hall of Fame moments.

Then it’s onto the wrestling part of the show.  The lads talk all the biggest new stories of the last few weeks in pro wrestling.  There’s a quick preview of WrestleMania 34 before they get to the most fun part of the show.  The show is wrapped up this week with their first retro PPV review.  It’s WCW New Blood Rising 2000 PPV.  It’s so Russoriffic it’ll give you a migraine – with a hundred run-ins and some of the worst gimmick matches in wrestling history.  It makes for a hilarious review and this could be a new gold mine for MFX material.

 Holy crap do we have a PACKED show for you this week.  So many things discussed and made fun of and so little space to write about it all.  The lads kick off with talk on snow in the UK, KFC running out of chicken, the recent spate of bullshit time traveller stories, millennials and what drives them and makes them different from us.  Plus a no doubt divisive chat about gun control in America.

They talk Kevin Smith’s recent health scare and Duckman gives a brief history of some of the funniest stories from Scottish football.  All your emails are answered with topics covered like Marvel’s samey movies, Black Panther’s success, fan boys being twats about stuff, Star Wars and WWE Hall of Fame talk.

Which leads us nicely into the wrestling part of the show where the lads review the bang average Elimination Chamber show, admit they haven’t watched any weekly WWE TV in months and decide on a new wrestling segment on the show that YOU guys control.  You tell us what shows from the past on the WWE Network you want us to review and we’ll do that.  We just can’t keep pretending we like current WWE anymore.  We tapped out folks.
