In the latest episode of Through The Smoke, we touch on recruiting and the 2022 Miami Hurricanes with the season right around the corner. 

A recruiting dead period begins in the month of August, but this week things will open up slightly with schools able to host recruits on campus one last time before the season starts in September. 

Miami will be hosting a barbecue on campus and UM hopes to have plenty of top targets at the event. 

InsideTheU’s David Lake and Gaby Urrutia share what they can about the event, including a big time wide receiver prospect that is in South Florida this weekend. 

In the second half of the episode, Lake and Urrutia share their thoughts on the preseason voting by ACC media with UM picked to win the Coastal Division and three Hurricanes selected preseason first-team All-ACC.
