It's the 4-0 Recap Show!! And Toast shows up to the show dressed like a priest to administer last rights to the Florida-UM rivalry game, since it won't be played again possibly ever. We start with the big upsides from the win, which starts with how dominant the Miami defense was against the Gators and how we feel like there are no more fire alarms on that side of the ball. They were incredible last night.
Everyone has big praise for Rueben Bain who showed yet again that he is the best defensive player in the country. And the question is quickly posed about whether we'll be able to hang onto Hetherman into next season if this defense continues to dominate the way they are. Also it seemed like everyone was making excuses for just how bad DJ Lagway has been this year and how the Florida fanbase is trying to put that blame on Billy.
Then we shift over the offense... which, while Fletcher dominated on the ground, seemed to get stuck in the mud for the better part of two quarters. Roman was at the game and comments about just how good the Florida secondary was doing keeping Carson Beck limited to the check-down options. And everyone wants to know why Dawson didn't try to flip the script as the offense got bogged down and struggled, and Roman thinks there is an offensive void that needs to be filled.
The officials also admitted that they made a mistake by blowing the whistle on the Brown run that took a touchdown off the board, and how nothing happened to the refs even though it changed the entire pace of the game. Toast also gauges everyone's confidence level going into the bye week after a game where Miami struggled offensively, especially as they gear up to head to Doke to face the Seminoles in two weeks. And it wouldn't be a show unless we took some time to dance on Clemson's grave after another horrible loss for Dabo.
