It's Halloween and I didn't realize I missed making an episode last year, so boo me. I discovered this fact after I did the podcast, so future me found out what past me didn't know.

Some time ago, Linda had a work trip and stayed at a location that was supposedly haunted. What she found was interesting and raised quite a few questions about what really goes on at sites with a reputation for being haunted.

Since Halloween is a time when people go to spooky places for a scary experience, I figured her discoveries were worth talking about and exploring.

Spoiler alert: go to the haunted houses and have a good time, just be careful, and ask for lighthearted scares if it's a place with a reputation for paranormal activity. You'll get the thrill with none of the negative associations, and you'll have a great physical and mental memory that lasts a lifetime.

Relationships involve the pairing of two people who share the same space throughout the course of their lives. When something in that space breaks, it needs fixing, and it's not always easy to get fixed. Both partners have their opinions about how to fix something, and sometimes one partner has expertise.

But what happens when one partner is dead and can't physically fix the problem to the extent you need? 

You get what happens in this podcast.

In this episode, I let Ken out of the box to talk about what his life is like after death. Most of the podcast is me relaying what he has to say about the generalities that come with not having a dense physical body and daily life. He rides his hobby horse in some areas, but I just let him go for the most part.

I was looking through the back catalog and realized it's been over 3 years since I started the podcast. The time felt right to update the original first episode. The original is staying up for various reasons, including giving listeners the opportunity to compare if they feel like it. 

Some things have stayed the same, including why I use the title "Practical Medium" and my dislike for turning sensitivity and the other side of the fence into something it's not. What has changed? My confidence in myself and the information I receive.

This is a bit of an open-ended topic about how the brain can create a reality out of something it doesn't want to deal with versus being a medium and dealing with a reality that doesn't mesh with the physical world in a way that makes sense.

He's a fun host and worth watching to get a sense of just how clueless people can be when it comes to the legal system. 

I was listening to a favorite artist of mine recently and something that struck me long ago about his live performances hit me so hard that I felt the need to make a podcast about it.

The artist? Stevie Ray Vaughan. He lived a short but fast life full of guitar hero glory, and I realized why he did what he did when he was alive. His motivations apply to every single last one of us who came here to live in the physical. 

Spoiler alert: I don't tune into him, but I do use his story as a lesson for why we need to let our wild hairs loose on occasion.

And wasn't impressed. In this episode, I talk about my experience at a metaphysical convention and my overall impressions. I also have a small bit of mental exhaust for the second half of the episode covering some of the stuff that's gone down since I last recorded.

I hadn't realized it was so long since I had recorded an episode, so here we are. I got a kick in the keister when I was watching some videos about the British monarchy and a random episode about spirituality was stuck into the feed. I don't watch anything related to spirituality on YouTube, and I don't research/read about it whatsoever. Just another day in the life living with a non-physical troll. Picture here.

I finally got around to recording this topic as I've been promising for a while. I talk about how stones can give a bit of a boost to your life, and what to expect from their abilities and properties. Are they magical and capable of making your life awesome? No, but they can make a difference when you need it. I also talk about how to pick stones, what properties to ascribe to them, and how to use them.
