The gang take a tour of Tromaville this week as they review the cult classic anti-super hero movie, The Toxic Avenger. Spawning 2 sequels and a 2025 remake starring Elijah Wood and Peter Dinklage, the zero to hero story seems to capture the hearts of those who can see past the gross-out antics in the film. With explicit body gore and indiscriminate violence, many audiences pass on Toxie, but to those who appreciate those things, it's a B movie classic!

The gang makes magic with $25k this week, as they review the cult classic creature feature, The Deadly Spawn. Our 2nd entree into B-movie September, and we're starting to feel more in the B horror spirit. The Deadly Spawn is clearly a passion project that should not be as good as it is based on the inexperienced crew, lack of funding, and plot that has been done a million times before. Thank God that wasn't the case, because The Deadly Spawn is a certified gem that everyone should see with friends. Watch first, then tune in

The gang summons a blind demon this week, as they review the New Zealand indie comedy horror, Deathgasm. Kick off our B-movie September with a movie that is arguably not even a B movie, but is loads of fun, with buckets of blood. The story behind how the movie was made is almost as fun as the movie itself, and keep your eyes peeled for the sequel set to release this year. Watch Deathgasm on your streaming service of choice then weigh in on it in the comments!

The gang dies of cringe but returns for love this week, as they review the ill-fated remake of the cult goth classic... The Crow (2024). Starring Billy Skars and SKA Twigs, this upcycled emo sad-boy tragedy wrapped in a Hot Topic leather duster seemed to be doomed from the start. Maybe that's why the gang decided to subject themselves to it as a punishment movie for the bonus week of Erotic Thriller August. Stream The Crow on Starz, then tune in to find out which of our 3 hosts actually gave it a decent grade

The gang falls right into her trap this week as they review Lawrence Kasdan's directorial debut starring William Hurt and Kathleen Turner... Body Heat. Our fourth and final entry into Erotic Thriller August brings us to Florida yet again, only this time told through the lens of a sleazy defense attorney chasing tail in the middle of a massive heat wave. Adultery, deception, murder, sex, and sweat abound in this erotic thriller that deserves its place up with the greats.
