Jack Nicholson gives life to an all-time character in JJ Gittes in this 1930's LA mystery thriller that is widely considered on the of the greatest films of all time. The gang orders 4 fried chickens and a coke this week, as they review The Blues Brothers (1980). Blurring the line between SNL bit, real musical act, parody, and cool machismo, The Blues Brothers is an enigma from a bygone era that must be seen to believe. Our 4th and final movie for Car Chase May, chosen by the Classmates on Patreon, is a first time watch for all 3 of the guys, and a favorite by many in the class. How did you like The Blue Brothers? Weigh in with an Email

The gang redefines the car chase scene this week as they review the fantastically cool SF detective crime thriller, Bullitt. With a Director who was a former racecar driver and team leader, and a star who also races and did his own driving, this slow burn thriller with a high octane chase scene is as authentic as you can get. Did Joseph's pick for Car Chase May win over the class? Tune in to find out

The gang plays the anti hero this week as they review the movie that changed the standard for Car Chase Scenes... The French Connection. Based on a book of the same name, TFC follows two NYPD drug unit detectives as they try to intercept a huge heroin shipment coming into the US through a corrupt French business man. This film won best picture, best actor, and best supporting actor at the Oscars, and has what is universally considered the grand daddy of all chase scene... but did the gang enjoy it?
