Hear what it feels like to be a woman who is one day on a business trip and the next day fleeing her country. It was all going so well, she was the happiest she had ever been. A great job, a great new beau, beauty, health...everything was going her way. Then an accident rocked her world. But she refused to let being paraplegic define her. Sarah Foley lives a full life as a person with disabilities, not as a disabled person. She shares her journey and her breakthroughs in this inspiring episode. And we learned about how to interact with someone dealing with a disability, as well as a little about ho'oponopono.
It was sudden and unexpected. In a matter of minutes, Heidi Dunstan was thrust into loss and grief. She quickly found out that the guides and well-meaning words of others were not what she needed. She shares her story and what we really need and don't need in our hardest of times.
