The Busy Woman's Guide to Staying Stylish: Balancing Working & Style with A Busy Schedule
Office Wear: Opt for classic silhouettes in neutral colors like navy, black, camel, and grey. Invest in high-quality pieces like a tailored blazer and trousers or skirts that flatter your body type. These timemidlifeless items will help you look put together while allowing you to feel comfortable all day long. You can also add an element of personality with printed scarves and statement jewelry [e.g., a long pendant necklace or a bold cuff].
Casual Wear: When you're off the clock but still have places to go, invest in well-fitting denim pieces like bootcut jeans or chic trousers, plus quality basics like t-shirts and sweaters. Look for interesting details such as side stripes, embroidery work, or embellishments for added personality.
Accessorizing: Accessorizing is a great way to take any look up a notch without overwhelming yourself with choices. Choose one statement piece such as a bright bag or colorful statement earrings that won't take too much time to pair with the rest of your outfit each morning. Remember the power of neutrals – they can make any accessory "go" with most wardrobes!
Hair Care: Having good hair days is essential when it comes to looking polished at work. Invest in quality products meant specifically for your hair type [e.g., Frizz Ease Extra Strength Formula Deep Treatment] and find simple styles that complement your face shape [e.g., high ponytails for round faces]. This will save you time spent styling in the morning (and time spent dealing with bad hair days!)

Are you a mid-life woman struggling to find the confidence to look and feel your best? Learn why it is essential for women of all ages to seek out professional help in order to develop the skills needed to dress with confidence.
Today we are diving into a topic that needs to be discussed: Why is it that seeking help to navigate through life seems to be taboo after graduating from high school or college?
Let me set the stage for you. When we were younger, we had teachers and coaches to guide us, teach us, and help us develop the skills and knowledge we needed to succeed. But once we finished college, it seems we are on our own. We are expected to be experts in everything from cooking to fashion, to even adulting as a whole.
And let's be honest, just because we get dressed every day doesn't mean we know how to create outfits that are best for us. But we think we should know, we think there's something wrong with us when we don't. But let's shift that mindset, shall we?
Fashion is an art, just like cooking, painting, and architecture - it takes time to develop the skills and knowledge to truly master it. Even doctors practice medicine with the skills they learned at school, and let's not forget, we were taught how to put our arm through clothes, use snaps and buttons, but not how to style ourselves.
We all have to eat every day, and preparing meals for ourselves and others is an essential part of life. But have you ever considered that cooking is also an art? It requires a deep understanding of ingredients, techniques, and flavors. So why is seeking the help of a chef or cooking classes seen as a weakness, when it is really an investment in developing a valuable skill set?
The same goes for fashion and style. We should not feel ashamed or embarrassed to seek the help of professionals, or even friends who have a natural flair for fashion. Don't limit yourself to a limited view of what style is, and instead, let yourself be open to new methods of expression and creativity.
So let's end this podcast with a reminder: it's okay to ask for help, it's okay to not know everything, and it's okay to invest in yourself at any age. Life is too short to not indulge in the things that bring us joy and help us express ourselves fully. Keep slaying, my midlife ladies, and stay stylish!

Hey there lovelies, it's your personal stylist and coach here to talk about why you need to trust yourself before you try to create amazing outfits.
Have you ever found yourself hesitating to trust your own style sense? Maybe you second guess yourself and always need to ask for advice when it comes to putting outfits together. Well, you're not alone. Many women struggle with this same issue. But the truth is, if you don't trust yourself, you're never going to be truly confident in your style.
That's where coaching comes in. As a certified life coach and personal stylist, I use the model of thought work to help my clients build true confidence in themselves. We believe that our thoughts create our feelings, our feelings drive our actions and our actions give us the results. Our actions don't affect our thoughts, it's the other way around.
So, if you want to be confident in your style choices, you need to start by thinking confident thoughts about yourself. And that's where trust comes in.
Let me give you an example. One of my clients used to dread shopping. She would rush through the store, avoiding the dressing room, and always end up feeling frustrated and unhappy with her purchases. But, after some coaching, we discovered that the real issue wasn't that she didn't like shopping, it was that she didn't trust herself to pick out great outfits.
Does that sound familiar? It's all too common. But the good news is, with some coaching and practice, you can learn to trust yourself and feel confident in your style choices.
So, the next time you're getting dressed or heading out to go shopping, take a moment to check in with yourself. Are you second guessing your choices? Are you doubting your own style sense? If so, it's time to start doing some thought work and practicing self-trust.
Remember, you're amazing just the way you are. Trust yourself and your style choices will follow suit. Thanks for listening, until next time, think like a style icon!

Many women in midlife face stereotypes that they are too old or not capable of reaching the same success as younger generations. Fortunately, this is not true! Women in midlife truly have powerful advantages that allow them to thrive personally and professionally.
First, let's start with what midlife actually is - it usually begins somewhere around age 40 - 65 and marks the transition from your younger years into middle age. Commonly referred to as "the midlife crisis," many people associate this period with feelings of depression, insecurity, and stress. But rather than dreading this period of life, why not look at it as an opportunity?
Experienced: Women over 40 have an abundance of life experience under their belt. They can draw upon this wisdom and past experiences to inform decisions and navigate challenges with more ease than someone who may be younger and less experienced.
Connection/Friendships: Women over 40 tend to have strong social networks made up of loyal friends, colleagues, family members, and business associates who offer support when needed. And because many of these connections have been built over time, they often come with a greater degree of trustworthiness than relationships formed recently or quickly.
Financially Secure: Many women over 40 have achieved financial freedom due to years of hard work and dedication towards building successful careers and businesses. This financial independence allows for more freedom to take risks, pursue dreams, and invest back into themselves or others without worrying about the financial consequences if things don't go as planned.
Independent: Women over 40 tend to be independent decision makers due to the combination of decades worth of life experiences which has afforded them the confidence needed to make choices that serve their own best interests without fear of judgement from others or worry about conforming to societal pressures or expectations from family members or other sources that often influence decisions made by people who may still be very young adults trying to find themselves in life's journey .
Health Conscious: Women who are over 40 typically take better care of their health since they understand it is important for them live longer healthier lives so they can enjoy what comes next during this season of life since it often offers some exciting new opportunities within relationships, career paths & investments etc ….. all while becoming wiser & often more adventurous too !
In conclusion, even though midlife can come with its challenges such as hormonal shifts or an identity crisis, women are still able to rise above these challenges by leveraging the unique advantages this period brings about for strong female leadership within their industry. Age is no longer an obstacle but an asset!

What is a personal brand and why does it matter?
Personal branding is the practice of developing a unique and recognizable identity for yourself as a professional. It involves leveraging various methods of self-promotion to make yourself stand out from the competition in your chosen field. Not only do entrepreneurs need to have a strong personal brand, but all professionals should consider the benefits of creating one.
A solid personal brand can help you establish credibility and increase visibility, which can open up opportunities both professionally and personally. It helps to create a point of difference that sets you apart from other professionals, giving employers or clients an instant snapshot of what you bring to the table. Developing your personal brand also provides an opportunity to showcase your values and experience, while showcasing why someone may want to work with you.
Having a strong personal brand ensures that potential employers know who you are and what value you can bring to their organization. Your online presence will be more influential as a result, because it creates an easier way for employers or clients to get access to information about you. Through your own branding efforts, companies have an easier time identifying talent that would be a great fit for their organization or project.
Your personal brand is not just about industry awards or achievements – it's also about showcasing who you are as a person, such as favorite hobbies or hobbies inspiring creativity in others. By having this kind of self-expression involved in your branding efforts, it gives potential employers an insight into how well you'll fit within their company culture. Furthermore, developing effective communication skills will help build trust between yourself and potential leads or contacts – which could be essential when looking for new job roles or clientele down the line.
Having a solid personal brand is beneficial no matter if you're an entrepreneur seeking new business opportunities or someone working within an established company looking to progress up the corporate ladder. Through building relationships both online and offline through networking events and social media platforms, as well as effectively communicating who you are through creative digital content – becoming familiar with how best to leverage your own personal brand will ensure more positive results in achieving career goals faster.
Your image is going to make or break your personal brand. Aligning your style with who you are is a non-negotiable for a standout personal brand.
Here are 3 ways having a standout style will help your efforts with your personal brand:
1. Be Confident
Being a leader in your industry requires having a standout style that is both professional and fashionable. Having on-trend clothes will not only help you stand out from the rest of your colleagues, but it will also give you a confidence boost when stepping into the boardroom or networking with other professionals.
When your clothes fit well and flatter your body shape this can make you feel more comfortable in yourself and ready to tackle whatever comes your way. Feeling confident in yourself gives off a positive energy which is attractive to potential employers or clients.
It's hard to exude confidence when wearing something drab or dull—so investing in stylish pieces that make you feel good will not only boost your individual confidence but will also have others take notice of how much effort you put into looking put together and polished on any occasion.
2. Be Memorable:
With an eye-catching wardrobe, you'll be able to showcase your personality without even saying a word! Whether it's bright colors or bold patterns, wearing clothes that reflect who you are helps people remember who you are and makes them feel more comfortable around you—which can go a long way when making important business connections!
Having a standout style is also key for networking events or meetings outside of work where first impressions count for a lot. Dressing well shows others that you care about making good relationships with influential people within your industry, setting up future opportunities for yourself.
As a style coach for midlife female successful leaders, I believe that having an eye-catching wardrobe allows you to take control of how people perceive you. This is especially important if you are attending events related to your field as it can make all the difference in how others view your abilities and accomplishments. The right outfit can influence people's reactions when they meet you, so choosing something stylish and professional can be beneficial for setting yourself apart and making strong first impressions.
Style can help you create a memorable impression that will open doors to new opportunities and next-level success.
3. Be Credible:
Having a standout style can also create opportunities for career growth. Studies have shown that people who dress in a way that looks more credible tend to get more promotions than those who don't make an effort in their appearance. Having a polished look helps potential employers or clients take notice of your drive and ambition which shows them that you are serious about achieving your goals.
Standing out in your industry with a polished and powerful personal style can help you gain respect from peers and colleagues. When you show up to meetings looking put-together and professional, it demonstrates that you take yourself seriously, which leads to others taking you seriously too. It sends the message that when you are taken seriously, people will listen to what you have to say.
When meeting new potential business partners or clients, having stylish clothing helps create meaningful connections between both parties—even if it's subconsciously! Wearing fashionable pieces gives off impressions of trustworthiness which ultimately creates stronger relationships built on mutual respect for each other's abilities and qualities as professionals in the industry.
Stylish clothing is not only aesthetically pleasing but also establishes credibility in your work environment. The way one dresses is often seen as a visual representation of their skillset, so by having an appropriate look for different occasions, you are presenting yourself as someone who understands what it takes to get ahead in your industry and who is serious about advancing professionally in their career.
In conclusion, having an impressive fashion sense will help you reach your next-level of success faster and have a whole lot more fun while doing it.
Don't wait another day and start designing your personal brand standout style now.

For many people, the notion of body typing has been a useful tool in understanding how to best dress their bodies. Unfortunately, it can also be limiting and even damaging if taken too literally. In this podcast, we will discuss why body typing doesn't work—and why your body is not the shape of a geometric shape or the shape of a fruit!
First, let's look at what body typing is: it's the idea that certain physical characteristics—such as height, weight, and body shape—can be used to determine which types of clothing styles might look best on someone. This can be helpful for finding an overall sense of style that works for you. However, it's important to remember that everyone is different and there isn't one type of clothing that looks good on all body shapes.
When it comes to choosing clothes based on your unique body type, one size does not fit all. For example, some women may have an hourglass figure with curves in the right places while others may have a more athletic build with broader shoulders or muscular legs. Each woman should take her individual features into account when selecting clothing that complements her shape and makes her feel confident.
Finally, never forget to consider your lifestyle when shopping for clothes; do you need comfortable clothing for running errands? Business professional attire for work? Or something more glamorous for special occasions? Knowing what activities you need clothing for will help guide your choices so you don't have to rely solely on body typing rules.
At the end of the day, wearing clothing that fits your unique features can help make sure you look and feel your best! Body typing does offer helpful suggestions about what kind of styles may work well for certain figures but try not to restrict yourself by sticking strictly to these generalizations – remember: no two bodies are alike!

Body Image is Important:
It's important to improve your body image because it impacts how you feel about yourself, how you interact with others, and how you experience life. When we don't like our bodies, we often miss out on meaningful experiences such as swimming, playing sports or going on dates. Feeling good about ourselves allows us to enjoy life more and participate in activities that bring us joy.
7 Ways to Improve Body Image This Summer:
1) Practice positive self-talk- be mindful of the language you are using when talking about yourself and replace any negative thoughts with positive ones.
2) Focus on all your wonderful qualities - think about everything that makes you unique, such as your talents, skills, and passions. This will help boost your self-confidence.
3) Treat yourself with kindness - do things that make you feel good, like buying yourself a new suit or taking extra time for self-care.
4) Stay active - try different kinds of exercise that make you feel good both physically and mentally, like yoga or walking outdoors. Exercise releases endorphins which can help lift your mood and give you energy.
5) Surround yourself with people who love and accept you - being around people who support us can help us stay positive even when we are feeling down about ourselves.
6) Wear clothes that make you comfortable - choose items of clothing that look good but also make sure they fit correctly so they don't add unnecessary stress to your day.
7) Celebrate progress - focus on small accomplishments rather than focusing solely on long-term goals; celebrate even the smallest victories along your journey towards improved body image!

This month in the Midlife Style School, we are diving into our beliefs about money. Our beliefs are controlling our feelings and relationship of how we spend and save money.
Do you ever look around and think, "How do wealthy women manage to always look so amazing?"
Well, I have some good news for you, it isn't a secret. In fact, after working with hundreds of midlife women who wanted to feel like high profile millionaires in their lives and professions, it got me thinking about the different techniques they used to get there.
And guess what?
Now I'm here to share those same tips that can make anyone feel more like an A-Lister!
So, if you've been searching how to look ultra chic and polished at any age - then this podcast is definitely for you.
I'm sharing 9 ways you can change how you think about money and create the feelings of being wealthy now.
I encourage you to pick one or two today and start improving your relationship with money.
1. Find your sense of style: Clothing is a big part of how we present ourselves to the world, and feeling like a wealthy woman means having a style that makes you feel confident and powerful. If you're not sure where to start, try looking for inspiration from well-dressed women in magazines, movies, or even real life. Once you've found some styles you like, invest in a few key pieces that will make you feel like a million bucks every time you put them on.
2. Invest in your home: A comfortable and stylish home is another important part of feeling like a wealthy woman. If your budget allows, splurge on items that will make your home more beautiful and inviting, such as luxurious bedding, artworks, or designer furniture. Even if you can't afford to go all-out, small changes like adding fresh flowers or scented candles can make a big difference in how your home feels.
3. Take care of your appearance: Whether it's getting regular haircuts and manicures or investing in good skincare products, taking care of your appearance is important for feeling wealthy. It's also worth noting that first impressions matter—so if you're meeting someone for business or pleasure, make sure you look your best.
4. Develop a taste for the finer things: From gourmet food and wine to high-end fashion and travel, there are many aspects of a wealthy lifestyle that revolve around enjoying the finer things in life. If you want to feel like a wealthy woman, start by treating yourself to occasional indulgences—you deserve it!
5. Be generous: One of the best ways to feel like a wealthy woman is to give back to others less fortunate than yourself. Whether you volunteer your time at a local nonprofit or simply donate money to causes you care about, giving back will make you feel good about yourself—and it's also one of the most philanthropic things you can do.
6. Pamper yourself: In addition to taking care of your appearance, it's important to pamper yourself on a regular basis—after all, wealthy women know how to treat themselves right! Whether it's getting massages or facials on a regular basis or simply taking some time out for yourself each day to relax and rejuvenate, making sure you take care of yourself both physically and mentally is key to feeling like a wealthy woman.
7. Live below your means: One common trait among wealthy people is that they live below their means—in other words, they don't spend all of their money on unnecessary luxuries but instead save and invest it wisely. If you want to feel like a wealthy woman, follow suit by evaluating your spending habits and looking for ways to cut back on unnecessary expenses. You may be surprised at how much money you can save by making small changes to your spending habits!
8. Invest in experiences: Instead of spending your money on material possessions, invest in experiences that will enrich your life—such as travel, learning new skills, or attending cultural events. These types of experiences are often more rewarding than simply buying things, and they'll help you create lasting memories that are far more valuable than any material item.
9. surround yourself with positive people: Wealthy people tend to surround themselves with other positive, successful people—so if you want to feel like a wealthy woman, make an effort to do the same. Spend time with friends who support and inspire you, join groups or organizations where successful women congregate, and attend events where you can meet other like-minded individuals. By surrounding yourself with positive role models, you'll naturally start thinking and behaving like them—which will only help increase your own wealth over time!

Today I'm sharing my midlife makeover. Your story might be different but the end result is the same...it's time to decide how we want to behave, dress, and be in midlife.
Join me inside my style coaching program THE MIDLIFE STYLE SCHOOL
I am sharing my heart behind why we are narrowing down the podcast to midlife women and why it's important to me.
In addition to sharing my personal reasons, I also shared 7 general reasons how women in midlife will benefit from this podcast.
1. We want advice that speaks to our experience with career, family and finances. Women in midlife often have different concerns than younger women such as what discreetly covers aging skin or how to dress for professional success without looking too stuffy.
2. Midlife women have different styles than younger women - We know that the styles of the younger generation are constantly changing, so midlife women need fashion advice specifically tailored to their needs. This means understanding which trends are appropriate for a more mature look and adapting existing trends to flatter a woman in her 40s and 50s.
3. Midlife women have a wealth of knowledge and experience - As midlife women, we have the benefit of already having years of life experiences behind us. This means that we can use these experiences to our advantage when it comes to looking good. We can learn from our past experiences, what works for us and what doesn't, allowing us to create a unique wardrobe that flatters our body type and complexion perfectly.
4. Midlife women need more accessible fashion resources – Many fashion resources are geared towards younger generations, making them inaccessible for midlife women who may not be as familiar with the current trends or how to shop for clothes in their age range. By focusing on providing fashion tips specifically for midlife women, we can help make fashion more accessible without compromising on style or quality.
5. Fashion isn't just about clothes; it's about self-expression and confidence which are important at any age but especially so during midlife when we may feel like our best years are behind us. By focusing on fashion tips specifically tailored towards this stage of life, we can help empower women to embrace their beauty as they enter into their older years with grace and poise.
6. Midlife women often lack confidence in their appearance - With age comes wisdom but it also brings changes in self-perception; something that may cause midlife women to feel less confident about their appearance than they did when they were younger. By providing advice tailored specifically for
