Midwestern State remained unbeaten with a pair of road wins last week, defeating Fort Hays State, 2-0, and Southern Nazarene, 5-1. Mere Escobar scored twice in each game and leads NCAA Division II with eight goals this season. Escobar has scored at least once in each game this season and has scored in nine of his last 10 games, dating back to last season. The Mustangs are ranked No. 5 in the nation as they travel to St. Mary’s to face the 16th-ranked Rattlers, who have opened the season with a 4-1-1 record.
