    STORYLINE:
Missiles and projectiles were seen in the skies over Jerusalem and Tel Aviv early on Sunday as Tehran unleashed a fresh attack on Israel which in turn launched an expanded assault on Iran.
Israel warned of more attacks after Tehran fired waves of missiles and drones that killed three people and wounded dozens in Israel.
Casualty figures weren’t immediately available in Iran, where Israel targeted its Defense Ministry headquarters in Tehran as well as sites that it alleged were associated with the country's nuclear program.
The simultaneous strikes represented the latest salvo since a surprise attack by Israel two days earlier aimed at decimating Tehran’s rapidly advancing nuclear program.

"This is an area just outside of Tel Aviv that has been absolutely decimated by missiles that have come from Iran early this morning. You can see behind me first responders. They are trying to get the remains of the missile that landed there between two buildings, it appears. Half of these buildings have been destroyed. The buildings have been completely torn off. First responders say there have been fatalities here, but it's unclear right now how many people and that there have been dozens of people injured. Walking here you saw people with their suitcases just evacuating some of the buildings, which responders are helping them to leave. This is yet another night of attacks from Iran after Israel launched its attack first on Iran's nuclear program, on its nuclear facilities, as well as its military facilities. First responders have sent a drone up here to kind of suss out some of the damage to the areas that they can't get to. Right now they're trying to just search some of these buildings, see if there are anyone left inside them, people who are injured, people who have survived. This is unprecedented damage for here right now and people are shaken and they're just trying to scramble right now to see the extent of what has actually happened this morning."

    5. SOUNDBITE (Arabic) Youssra Youssef, resident of Gaza:
“Right now, as you can see, we’re running to get water just to drink. We run to the charity kitchen just to eat and get a bit of soup. Bread is missing, all vegetables, all kinds of food are missing. Of course, our health has deteriorated. Our bones have weakened. There’s nothing left, nothing that sustains life. To be honest, we’re just living as walking corpses. There’s absolutely no element or sign of life left, unfortunately.”

They’re supposed to increase the amount of water for the people, you know there are many people. God willing, things will get better. As you can see, I wasn’t able to fill (my containers). I didn’t manage to fill them. They really need to increase the amount for the people.”

    STORYLINE:
Palestinians in Gaza struggle to get not just food and supplies, but also water.
Children and adults wait, sometimes for hours, out in the hot sun, to fill a bucket or a couple of bottles with clean water.
"We are running after water just to drink," said Youssra Youssef, a local resident. "We run to the charity kitchen just to eat and get a bit of soup. Bread is missing, all vegetables, all kinds of food are missing."
She added: "We’re just living as walking corpses."
There's not enough water for the large numbers living in the camp.
Mohammad Hassouna, a resident of Gaza, said that he stood for about an hour waiting for his turn to fill a few bottles of water only to be left with nothing.
“There isn’t enough water," he said. "They really need to increase the amount for the people."
Israel has blocked the entry of supplies and aid to the territory for almost three months, only now allowing in a small amount for the more than 2 million people living in the Gaza Strip.
Humanitarian organizations say it is too little.

First responders were searching for survivors amid destroyed apartment blocks, after an Iranian missile attack on a neighborhood outside of Tel Aviv early Sunday morning.
Streets were filled with rubble, damaged cars and shards of glass.
Responders used a drone at points to look for survivors in some of the areas that were too hard to access.
Some people were fleeing the area with their belongings in suitcases.
Tehran unleashed a fresh barrage of missiles blamed for the deaths of four people in Israel, while Israel launched an expanded assault on Iran on Sunday, with direct strikes targeting its energy industry and Defense Ministry headquarters.
Emergency services rushed to different locations in Israel, including one in Gush Dan in the Tel Aviv area where a building was hit.
The simultaneous strikes represented the latest salvo since a surprise attack by Israel two days earlier aimed at decimating Tehran’s rapidly advancing nuclear program.
Casualty figures weren’t immediately available in Iran, where Israel targeted its Defense Ministry headquarters in Tehran as well as sites that it alleged were associated with the country's nuclear program.
Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard claimed that Iranian missiles targeted fuel production facilities for Israeli fighter jets, something not acknowledged by Israel.
Amid the continued conflict, planned negotiations between Iran and the United States over Tehran's nuclear program were cancelled, throwing into question when and how an end to the fighting could come.

    STORYLINE:
Not one suspect imprisoned in Haiti has faced trial after being accused in the killing of President Jovenel Moïse, who was gunned down at his home nearly four years ago.
Gang violence, death threats, and a crumbling judicial system have stalled an ongoing investigation defined by outbursts and tense exchanges between suspects and judges.
Six Haitian judges have been assigned to investigate whether there is sufficient evidence to warrant a trial for the twenty suspects still detained in the troubled Caribbean country.
Among them are 17 former soldiers from Colombia and three Haitian officials: a former mayor, a former policeman, and Joseph Badio, who once worked for Haiti’s Ministry of Justice and at the government’s anti-corruption unit until he was fired for alleged ethics violations.
Three other suspects, all Colombians, were killed hours after Moïse was slain.
The initial investigation into the case was repeatedly halted as some Haitian judges resigned because they feared for their lives. Now, judges are tasked with starting the investigation anew.
But determining who might be complicit in the president’s death is only one of numerous challenges they face.
The tension in the hearing has carried over into the interrogations of the Colombian suspects, who denied participating in the killing and maintain they were hired by a Miami-based security firm and told they’d be going to Haiti to provide security for a power plant, a water treatment plant, and diplomatic officials, as well as train Haitian police and soldiers.
The Colombians have also repeatedly denounced their poor treatment in the Haitian prison.
