    STORYLINE:
Rising heat is a problem for millions of people in India. In Ahmedabad, temperatures this year have already reached 42 degrees Celsius (107 Fahrenheit), a level usually not seen for several more weeks, prompting city officials to advise people to stay indoors and stay hydrated.
And yet, coping with that heat is a familiar challenge in Ahmedabad. After a 2010 heat wave killed more than 1,300 people, city and health officials rushed to develop South Asia's first heat action plan.
The plan, rolled out in 2013 and now replicated across India and South Asia, includes strategies for hospitals, government officials and citizens to react immediately when temperatures rise beyond human tolerance. Public health officials said it's helped save hundreds of lives every summer.

    1. SOUNDBITE (English) Jeremy Allen White, actor, on playing Bruce Springsteen in 'Deliver Me from Nowhere":
"I don't know, you know, it's about a very specific time in Bruce's life. It's the period in which he just kind of finished The River tour and he's locked up in 'Colts Neck,' and he's writing 'Nebraska.' So it's him by himself there for a lot of the time. It's about the writing process and the creative process. We finished it in January. Bruce was there a lot at the time, Jon Landau his manager was there lot of time. And they seem happy, and that makes me happy."
Reporter: "Were you a fan of that period, or did you have to research it?"
White: "You know, I think everybody knows who Bruce is, and I was a fan of Bruce's, but yeah, that was certainly, and I'd heard 'Nebraska,' but it was certainly something that, yes, (at) the top of my Spotify wrap list last year."

    8. SOUNDBITE (English) Chandra Wilson, actor:
“It's so important. Look, I think there's something to not giving up on a thing, right? And perseverance, that's a cool thing. And not thinking that you always have to go to the next shiny object. There's something said about your comfort food. And I think that's one of the things that 'Grey's Anatomy' is to fans of the show, it's comfort food.”
    9. Richard T. Jones and Nathan Fillion
    10. SOUNDBITE (English) Charlie Cox, actor:
“I mean look, I was quite apprehensive about it, you know, obviously we have the original show has a lot of love and a huge fan base, it's a pretty bold move bringing it back after so many years, but I have to say the response for that first season has been overwhelming. And you know just for us to be given that chance in the first place was big enough but now to be here doing season two, it really is a beautiful opportunity.”
    11. Nathan Fillion
    12. SOUNDBITE (English) Nathan Fillion, actor:
“I collected comics, not to the point where they were in pristine condition, never touched by human hands. I've read them constantly, I bought secondhand comics, I was just always devouring comic books. My parents were big on promoting reading, they didn't care what we read, as long as we were reading, and my choice was comic books. So you're looking at a guy who is living his childhood fantasies, every one of them. I'm flying around. I'm bumping and rubbing elbows with Superman talking super shop. It's a blessing.”
    13. Ayo Edebiri
    14. Jason Kelce
    15. SOUNDBITE (English) Jason Kelce, former NFL athlete, TV personality:
“We were very fortunate in the first year. We were both really good. So we had a, I knew Travis and I, you know, we've been very successful so it felt like we would have people interested in hearing from it. Obviously the Chiefs and Eagles fan bases are die hard, large fan bases. We knew that there was interest in hearing about the season and what was happening. But no, I mean, going to the Super Bowl and having the run that we did that first season really helped establish the show. Go home. Where it is now. It's just been, it's been crazy. We do not foresee this at all.”
    16. Kaitlin Olson
    17. SOUNDBITE (English) Kaitlin Olson, actor:
“We really recognize how fortunate we are to be able to do that, and we love our other projects, but I know this is very cliche, but it does feel like coming back home when we get to shoot a season of television together because we grew up together. We're all family at this point, and it's just, we make each other laugh legitimately. We have the best time.”
    18. SOUNDBITE (English) Glenn Howerton, actor:
“Given that we only do eight episodes a season now, and we don't even always do one once a year on Sunny, it gives us all a chance to go and stretch ourselves in other areas, and be different people in different places, and as artists, and just as human beings, and there's more space in our lives than there used to be. When we were doing 13 and we were doing it every year, it was, there wasn't a lot of space to do other things, and I think it's easy to, after a while, start to feel a little hemmed in. So, um Us having the opportunity to go off and do other things really makes us appreciate the show even more when we come back. Not that those other things aren't fun, but this feels like a real homecoming every year.”
    19. Ashton Kutcher
    20. Glenn Close
    22. Jeremy Allen White

    (13 May 2025)
    ASSOCIATED PRESS

SOUNDBITE (inglés): Martin Bernard, fundador de Alive and Kicking:

SOUNDBITE (inglés): Martin Bernard, fundador de Alive and Kicking:

    (13 May 2025)

"It comes up all the time. You can't judge a book by its cover. People underestimate Morgan based on what she's wearing. And she's a super genius, but she's also not trying to shove that in your face. She's just trying to be a good mom and be a a good person and make a living and get by. And I love that she's such a multifaceted character."
(Reporter: "It really makes you wonder about the importance of scholarships and an opportunity that people don't always have. Is that a message that you hope that this gets out?")
Olson: "Definitely. That's one part of a whole. I think it's really important to be able to give everyone an opportunity. You know, we are very fortunate at this point that we have access and opportunity and we do our best to try and find places where we can provide that to other people. And then it's hard work. You know what I mean? It's not just like, 'Oh, it's easy from then on out.' You can only sustain that success if you work really hard. So why not give the opportunity and let them try?"

    (13 May 2025)
