Mike gets nearly kicked out of an airport while planning to crash a troll festival dressed as space trash — all for the mission.
DESCRIPTION:
LIVE Kansas City airport—dodging janitors, cops, and moral dilemmas—to bring the Space Trash Force the latest mission updates. This week, he introduces the Piggybacking Initiative, a bold new plan to grow the movement by latching onto existing public events, starting with Seattle’s Trolloween celebration under the Fremont Bridge.
Along the way, Mike ponders whether selling Mariners playoff tickets to pay your mortgage is ethical, proposes a much-needed redesign for airport bathrooms, and shares a field report on Midwestern dads’ controversial love of ranch dressing. There’s also talk of SpaceX’s 11th Starship launch, Mizzou football heartbreak, and why embracing public embarrassment might be the key to saving humanity (and getting to space trash).
As always, the mission continues: collect one piece of space trash. Together, we will clean up our orbital junkyard.

Only 67 days until Good Morning America and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade — and the Space Trash Force just expanded to TEXAS!
This week, Mike welcomes Augustus Allen of Belverde, TX, the very first Lone Star listener. They talk small-town pride, stop signs, Canyon Lake boats, and why Bel Verde is the “Front Porch of Texas.”
PLUS:
A sponsorship attempt with a local pizza bar 🍕
Listener reactions to last week’s Brad Pitt ambush 🎬
A mascot idea that’s part Joe Dirt, part alien 👽
Comedy updates and upcoming Seattle shows 🎤
The mission is simple: collect one piece of space trash. But we’ll need Texas-sized determination to get there.

We finally landed Brad Pitt… kind of. In this week’s episode of Mike Heath’s Orbital Garbage Project, I sit down with “Bradley Pitt” to talk about space trash, dropping out of Mizzou with 2 credits left, and whether Meet Joe Black deserves to be launched into orbit forever.
There’s also a lasagna-eating dog, a debate over buying space suits on Etsy, and a bold new plan: introducing our official mascot… Jelly Eagle.
We’ve only got 79 days until the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Is this the moment that puts us on Good Morning America? Or is this all just an absurd, intergalactic joke?

What does butter have to do with collecting a piece of space trash? Everything. In this buttery edition of Mike Heath’s Orbital Garbage Project, we churn through 9,000 years of dairy history — from accidental Mesopotamian butter-making, to Napoleon III’s desperate search for a cheaper alternative, to the birth of margarine and the iconic “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!” ad campaigns.
Along the way, we connect it all back to the mission: bringing real butter into orbit for the first time ever while collecting a piece of space trash. Plus, a shout-out to our new listener in Australia, calls for NFL player recruits to join the Space Trash Force, and an outrageous space-cleaning robot fish idea.
💬 Drop your butter conspiracies below. And yes, we are seriously taking butter to space.

These are the chronicles of one man’s journey hitchhiking from LA to Seattle over the course of 40 days, 40 nights. Our tale that starts a life coach’s conference to being homeless in LA to back on his grandma’s couch.
This will one day likely be a full length feature film on the silver screen or at least a book. You get to hear this from the horse's mouth (the horse is Rob Conroy) before anyone else. You are welcome. Not only do you get early access to this amazing journey and human story but your viewership and listernship helps us in our mission of collecting a piece of space trash. See you in low earth orbit!
Together we will clean up our orbital junkyard.
P.s. this is only the first 30 minutes; the full episode can be found on our patreon for FREE. Check it out and help us get some space junk.

What if the future of space cleanup started with a flyer and a stapler? In this episode, Mike launches a guerrilla marketing campaign to kickstart the cosmic cleanup — no rockets, just raw ambition and a stapler. We’re talking lamp posts, laundromats, and a dream to plaster all 50 states with the message. Plus: a new sponsor (Sneeze Eyes?), space bowling ambitions, and a race where every piece of trash gets us 5 seconds closer to victory.
Together we will clean up our orbital junkyard.

Our foes are many. They seek to thwart our project of collecting a piece of space trash. While they may be winning the battle this week, they will not win the war. We find ourselves in the Great Dip of Discouragement but the road toward orbital garbage cleanup lies ahead of us. That road is headed toward our first major milestone this Thanksgiving Week. Plan C is finalized. We discuss that here. As well as updates on the book and the Race for Space Trash 5k.
Together we will clean up our orbital junkyard.
