Is there a better advocate than someone who has experienced similar challenges firsthand? Surviving an unusual athletic collapse, Cheyenne was diagnosed with a rare vasculitis, TAK. Since her near-fatal tumble, she has exhausted her time in waiting rooms, only to hear the phrase, “one more month.” With her mom as her most prominent advocate, she navigated one medical obstacle after the other.
Now an Athletic Trainer at Clemson University, Cheyenne is able to stress the importance of educating players on their health before rushing them to the field. Having an advocate as your trainer stretches the life of an athlete and strengthens their fortitude physically and mentally. Her current role includes all aspects of medical care for the 135 football athletes on the team. That includes emergency care, rehabilitation from injury, preventative care, and daily coverage of practices and games. In particular, Cheyenne deals with a large portion of the mental health aspect of player health, procuring and accompanying outside medical care, and emergency procedures.
Cheyenne was born in Ithaca, New York and she moved to Salcha, Alaska at a young age where she finished High School. She attended Springfield College in Massachusetts and completed her BS in Athletic Training in 2013. She then went onto complete an MS in Biological Sciences in 2017 at Clemson University and began working for the football program in 2019 where she has been ever since.

Potential is nothing without execution, and it all starts with believing in yourself regardless of the hole you're in. Pasquale's path was anything but steady, hurdles continued to amount across his journey on and off the field. Despite his impressive resume as a professional athlete, things never came easy and his commitment to the craft kept him relevant when his options appeared limited.
Pasquale unfortunately lost his father at age fourteen and admittedly his anger was unleashed at a young age, the lack of answers as he processed the loss could have easily led to a spiral. A therapist suggested that sports could be an outlet, in particular football presented a healthy way to cope with the agony. Pasquale shares the various pitfalls on his quest to make it to the highest ranks in the NFL, he talks about his learnings, his regrets, and his frustrations along the way.
After a successful five-year stint in The Arena Football League, Pasquale has used his experience as an underdog to mentor and train aspiring athletes in his hometown. Pasquale's impact transcends the weight room, his experience has helped reshape the culture of his local school district which has benefitted from his presence to become a bonafide program.
Pasquale attended North Shore High School on Long Island. He received a full scholarship to play football at CW Post, he then transferred to Ventura Community College in California before finishing his collegiate football career at Buffalo State in New York as an All-American. Pasquale attended the NFL Combine in 2013 and had a Pro Day before making his way into The Arena Football League. His professional career spanned across five years with stints on the Cedar Rapids Titans, Spokane Empire, Massachusetts Pirates, and the Carolina Cobras. Pasquale was recognized as a 3-time All-Arena Defensive Team member.

It was never smooth sailing for Devin LeSassier as he chronicles the life of a barber that found his calling at age ten at his mom's house. Devin grew up fast, a father of five children by the time he was twenty-five who spent his twenties battling out a bitter divorce. Two short stints in jail as he tried to make ends meet became the impetus for finding strength through running and reinvigorating a commitment to his loved ones. Devin talks about a mentor, the mentor whom he wrote to while he was in jail, the one person in his life that told him to keep going and to believe that his potential was still untapped.
Devin's rise from pit to peak was not in vain, despite his tribulation and his loss of education, time, money, he understands the importance of giving back. He stares down his tribulation with gratitude and now he is using his craft to give back. Devin LeSassier is a New York Metropolitan based traveling barber. He started cutting hair at 10 years old out of his mother’s daycare. While enduring life’s challenges, cutting hair has become his life long passion and exalted purpose.
