After being a TT fan, rider, coach and just all round advocate, the legendary Milky Quayle finally takes on the TT Podcast to tell Chris Pritchard and Steve Plater some of his many tales and all about his love of the event.
Beginning from his early days of watching the Southern 100 and TT from the hedges with his dad, the Manxman takes the hosts through the journey to his first time racing at the event, sharing stories of riding round the course nine times on Mad Sunday and learning from local heroes along the way. He talks about some of his early bikes and taking advice from local heroes.
Milky gets into his first days at the TT, telling Chris and Steve about why he was nervous to race despite having driven around the course hundreds of times before. He also describes the magic of waiting for the sun to rise during a morning practice and why it's better that more care is taken now over the decision to race.
