When you enter the front door of the Craddock Terry Hotel in Lynchburg, VA, a wire haired fox terrier named Buster Brown greets you. This charming historic boutique hotel is nestled amongst the hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
A former shoe factory, the Craddock Terry has hundreds of shoes on display, some dating back to the mid-1800s. There is a shoe adornment tacked to the door of each of the 44 rooms, and an old-fashioned shoe box sits on the bed waiting to be filled with a delicious continental breakfast of croissants, cheese, yogurt and fruit.
Director of Sales, Kim Cox joins host Robin Milling to talk about the history of the hotel and it's various shoe-themed events.
