The truth is: we are all selfish. Because sometimes, it's challenging to be a good person, as it's nearly impossible to be open-minded, kind, and considerate all the time. And honestly, that's okay –– as long as we try to become better. Of course, we'll never be perfect, but if we remind ourselves to look at different points of view and continue to learn and grow from each other, we can take the first step in closing the empathy gap.
