Mind Under Matter

The World Building Boys of Comedy™ are finalizing the plans for the physical manifestation of Mind Under Matter at their Campout Festival.

Shane went to a second and final event at Lake Side Retreats in Raleigh.  This one was produced by Life Is Art Productions (who is also doing our campout festival).  He was blown away.

All previous concerns have been replaced with excitement and dreams.  Shane has even decided to move to Raleigh to build a MUM world over the summer.

We had to do one final update episode to finalize the plan and now everything is ready to launch.

We reflect on how year one started with us building the podcast in real-time and now in season two, people will get to see us build this one-of-a-kind event.

Come and see the physical manifestation of Mind Under Matter and hang out with The WBBC™, the team, and all the other MUMies September 9 thru 11.  The 8th will be Patreon Day where the OG supporters of the show will get to have a more intimate experience.  The first 222 ticket buyers will be a part of the Too Easy 222 will have a token of their MUMbership in a special club.

This place is insanely awesome!

Shane traveled to Raleigh to see where The Campout Festival Boys of Comedy™ will be hosting the Mind Under Matter Campout Festival Sep 8 – 11th.

After checking out a different campout festival here… WOW!  There is no describing the excitement but we take a whack at it anyway.

Lakeside Retreats is amazing and we can’t believe we are going to get to build our own Mind Under Matter World.

Any anxieties that we had before seeing the place went away and now it’s time to start spreading the word and telling your friends.

The first 222 tickets will all have a very special gift bag with a special token that will let people know you were one of the first 222 and several other items that cannot be purchased anywhere.

Listen to the episode and buy tickets before the price increases in June.  The CFBC™ will see you in September!!!

The Mailbag Opening Boys of Comedy™ take another round of listener questions.

How did Shand and Ramin meet?  Why does life keep getting weirder? Does a higher self choose to experience trauma?  We are all stars, but what should you do if you meet someone famous?

Listen in to hear The MOBC™ answer a fun mix-bag of questions.

Make sure to comment on social media, YouTube, or (best of all) Patreon and be included in the next Q&A show!

Psycho, Con, or Egomaniac?

The Dark Boys of Darkness™ take a Dark Triad survey to find out how that rate on psychopathy, Machiavellianism, and narcissism.

You can take the survey along with Shane and Ramin here: https://www.idrlabs.com/dark-triad/test.php

Be sure to share your results (in the comments below/ at @mindunderpod)

Is lying ever OK?  Have you been in trouble with the law?  Are you prone to flights of fancy?  How is your temper?  Are you impulsive?  How are your relationships with family?  Do you think most people are lazy?  Do you have a grand sense of self-importance?

The DBD™ had such a blast exploring their dark side that they made this a two-part episode.  Part one is available anywhere you podcast or with video on YT and Spotify

How do you decide what to do with your life?

The Guidance Counseling Boys of Comedy™ answer your questions for their first Advice Column episode.

Shane and Ramin offer some thoughts on choosing a life path, overcoming pointlessness, recovering from injury, overthinking, functional anxiety, and building an audience.  Saddle up to hear heavy topics lightened with laughs on the road to self-discovery.

The GCBC™ love to experiment with new themed episodes and find more ways to involve listeners.  They received so many great questions from MUMies on Patreon and Instagram that they decided to make the Advice Column a reoccurring series.

Come celebrate the discovery of LSD with The Kaleidoscopic Boys of Comedy™

On April 19th 79 years ago, Albert Hofmann had the first semi-intentional dose of Lysergic acid diethylamide. He then famously hopped on a bicycle, and the rest is dilated history. Since that bizarre day, it has changed the lives of countless people including Shane and Ramin’s. Oh yeah, it works!  But experiences vary.

Hear how The KBC’s™ experience with acid differs from mushrooms.  Despite such positive impacts on our lives, Shane has learned from his 'A Good Trip Tour' that not everyone has a good trip. We explore some of psychedelics' past and Shane unveils some entheogenic plans for the future.

Take a synesthetic ride on our Betterizer wherever you listen to podcasts or add some visuals with Spotify or YouTube

PS – Afterwards, you can watch Shane and Ramin tell some animated DMT stories on Comedy Central’s ‘Tale’s From The Trip’ and see Ramin in Shane’s documentary ‘Psychonautics’ on Amazon Prime.

If you want to see Shane’s final Head Talks show, it will only be at The MUM Campout Festival in Raleigh Sep 8-11. Sign up for more info on our website.

The Literally Resurrecting Literal Bunnies of Literal Comedy™ literally spring from their literal nests to literally celebrate literal Easter.

After some fun updates about our MUF, we send you on an Easter egg hunt!  Check out Shane’s documentary ‘Psychonautics’ on Prime and find the hidden shot to win a free T-shirt.  The movie is also a good primer for next week’s Bicycle Day Episode!

We don’t know if JC literally rose from the dead, but there are entire species that metaphorically have.  As nature is blooming, we jump down a rabbit hole to see if rabbits deserve their reputation as our symbol of fertility.  Did you know that one rabbit could potentially turn into 200 in just a year? Tune in to see how many rabbit facts we can pull out of our hats (ears).

Spring is here and The LRLBLC™ are prolifically planting seeds for this year’s harvest.

The Kids Of The Boys Of Comedy™ join Shane and Ramin for the first team episode!

Matt McCool (real last name) is the amazing editor of both Mind Under Matter and Here We Are.  If you follow us on Instagram or watch on YT or Spotify, you’ve gotten to see all the fun things that the best editor in podcasting adds to MUM.  What you would never know is all the little stuff that goes into making quality audio and video that no one would ever notice unless he stopped doing it.

Rhianna ‘The Hippie Witch’ Andrews (real hippie witch) has worked with Shane since his Good Trip Tour in 2016.  She has since had to wear SOOOOO MANY HATS.  She has run social media, been a publicist, booked guests, managed tours, been an agent and manager, done endless administrative assistant tasks, a web designer, a straight jacket designer, and way too many other things to list. Now she’s the MUM Mom.

Ramin and Shane generally keep Matt and Rhianna chained in a dungeon, subsiding off their own recycled urine, so we thought it was time we make this hostage video so everyone knows they are still alive.

Generally, our monthly bonus episodes are only available on Patreon but after recording, we realized that we want everyone to meet The KBC™.  So we decided to make this one public so you could get a free taste of some of the fun, experimental shows typically exclusive to our super fans.
