In this transformational episode we are blown away with Ramon’s ability to take us deep into civil matters. He offers us some history in referencing ‘The Stonewall Riots’ that happened in June of 1969. These riots launched the gay rights movement. Ramon touches in on the interesting fact that they went on in this same month as we are having the black lives matter riots of 2020.
This episode takes us on a journey exploring the civil rights movements that lead us to our stance for human rights. We have a responsibility to our community of humans to stand up, educate ourselves, and take action. As a whole, it is time to “upgrade our awareness package,” and tear off the layers in order to rise against injustice.
Ramon is a Mexican Artist, living in Texas, who believes and practices Activism through Art. He takes responsibility and stands up for the LGBT+ community. He has served in our U.S. Army, he spent a few years teaching fifth grade art, and he has an engineering degree.
An absolute Diverse human in every sense of the word. We are so grateful to have sat with him on our couch.
