Earlier this week a cluster of tents along Dublin’s Grand Canal were moved with Taoiseach Simon Harris saying the days of people living in these encampments were over, however within hours the tents were reappearing throughout the city. 

So what can be done to deal with the ever growing immigration issue? Is it time to consider more drastic solutions such as checkpoints at the border with Northern Ireland?
