First Neil Young, then Joni Mitchell and Nils Lofgren. But it took rumors that M & M were threatening to pull their podcast to bring Spotify to change their policies on misinformation. Even Joe Rogan issued an apology. Donald Trump had quite a weekend. Called three prosecutors racists because they are black and looking to put him in jail, floated pardons for the seditionists who followed his orders and attacked the Capitol on 1/6, and then admitted that he wanted Pence to "overturn the election". And finally, Bill Maher continued his attempts at relevance.

Whether it's a desperate attempt at trying to be an "edgy contrarian", or if instead, he's simply become a grouchy, lonely old man searching for a place in the headlines, Bill Maher has joined the Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan wing of cultural commentary. We discuss. Also, our Hillbilly Liberal Trae Crowder has some thoughts on the right-wing outrage over President Biden getting caught on a hot mic calling a Fox News reporter a "stupid SOB".

While we catch our breath after perhaps the greatest weekend of football in our history, we take a look at what is now known as "The Steal". The walls are closing in on the perpetrators, from the Oath Keepers, Proud Boys and others, to the insiders of the Trump Campaign and Trump and his family. Who will flip? Our Hillbilly Liberal Trae Crowder has some thoughts on good ol' Mitch McConnell.

M & M have a wide ranging discussion on several current events including examples of the pandemic of mental illness that has infected the right in this country. We also honor the late Michael Jackson of KABC Radio fame and long-time colleague of Ken's.

Democrats are doing what they always seem to do...focus on what hasn't yet happened instead of on what they have achieved so far...which is significant. This is particularly true considering that we, the voters, gave President Biden a paper-thin majority in Congress. Also, we discuss pathetic Kevin McCarthy, and have contributions from Jordan Klepper and our Hillbilly Liberal.

While the GOP falls deeper into the pit of absurdity, Covid still rages and Dr Anthony Fauci seems to have reached his boiling point. Listen to Fauci make Senators Rand Paul and Roger Marshall his bitches.

There is no disputing that Fox News serves as nothing more than a propaganda department for Donald Trump and his political operation. Tucker Carlson is nothing more than this generation's Joseph Goebbels. Ted Cruz is the most recent poor sap to learn this lesson the hard way.

On the one year anniversary of one of the darkest days in our history, we've finally heard from the Attorney General and a more forceful follow-up from the President regarding that dark day and the aftermath. M & M have a spirited discussion on the topic. We also illustrate - in their own words - why some of our fellow citizens are simply too far gone to save. What do we do with them?

Now that the balloons have dropped and the confetti has been cleaned up, we'd better get laser-focused on the threat that is staring us down. We are essentially Germany in 1930, and we'd better start paying attention. Just because "things have always worked themselves out" in the past, doesn't mean we can get past the threat that is staring us down currently. We discuss...

Fox News personalities and even Presidential spawn Trump Jr are in an absolute panic about Liz Cheney reading their insurrection texts to Mark Meadows during the riots. Problem is, they have a recent history of not being all that concerned with privacy issues when they're using personal communications of those they see as their enemies. They have even less credibility today than yesterday, if that's possible. More hypocrisy on display with Rand Paul's calls for disaster relief for Kentucky, and why we hate the United States Senate.
See you again in 2022!
