Barr, Graham and Bolton are doing their best impressions of a contortionist in trying to have it all ways.  Barr wants to sell a book and convince us that he wasn't the enemy of the rule of law that we know him to be.  Graham has located his balls and is having a flashback to the days when he was a pilot fish for John McCain.  Bolton, too late, is telling right wing media (the only ones who'll talk to him apparently) that Trump wasn't the reason that Putin didn't invade Ukraine during his 4 years.  Meanwhile, we contemplate just how lucky the world is that Trump isn't in office right now.

How any self-respecting person can continue to identify as a conservative or Republican these days, when the intellectual leadership of the movement consists of the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene and Donald Trump, is one of the great mysteries of our time.  We now understand why Trump, during his presidency, was for a time so fixated on toilets, and how he seemed to have trouble flushing them sufficiently.  And MJT is confused by the difference between Hitler's Secret Police and chilled tomato soup.

In a sure sign that the pressure of all of his investigations are pressing down hard on him, Trump - every time he opens his mouth or releases a statement - either admits to a crime that he has committed, or commits a new crime.  Now, he's calling for an investigation of Mike Pence for NOT overturning the election, promising pardons for the insurrectionists being prosecuted, and threatening the prosecutors in New York and Atlanta, as well as the 1/6 committee members, and is calling Lindsey Graham a RINO for suggesting that it was "inappropriate" to dangle the pardons.  This of course will trigger the death threats to Graham and force him to crawl back for a round of golf and ring-kissing at Mar-a-lago.  We also say goodbye to Tom Brady and discuss the continuing fallout around the Joe Rogan/Spotify situation and explore Whoopie Goldberg's suspension from The View.
