In this episode of the Miracle Plant Podcast, I had the pleasure of speaking with Tyler Hemp on the Hemp Aware Radio podcast. I shared my journey from being a serial entrepreneur to becoming a leading figure in the world of hemp and CBD products.
We began the conversation by discussing the incredible benefits of raw, whole-plant, cold-pressed CBD oil. I emphasized the importance of consuming the plant in its natural form, highlighting how CBDA (cannabidiolic acid) is up to a thousand times more potent than its decarboxylated counterpart, CBD. I also shared the miraculous story of how raw hemp oil helped my son, who was diagnosed with severe autism, achieve significant improvements in his condition.
I had an opportunity to share my passion for hemp and my commitment to educating the public about the benefits of raw CBD and providing high-quality hemp products. I explained the unique approach of 101CBD, which focuses on maintaining the plant's integrity by avoiding heat and preserving its natural compounds.
We also delved into the challenges and strategies of marketing hemp products and shared some valuable insights on the effectiveness of organic marketing, the importance of building an email list, and the benefits of continuity programs. I explained the shift away from paid ads due to regulatory hurdles and the rising costs, recommending a focus on organic content and customer engagement.
As we wrapped up the episode, I left his audience with my hope that someday just as aloe vera is associated with sunburn relief, raw hemp will become synonymous with pain relief and anti-inflammation. My vision is for people to recognize the true potential of plant-based medicine and take control of their health.

In this episode of the Miracle Plant Podcast, I delve into the inspiring journey and mission behind the Miracle Plant movement. The episode begins with a heartfelt recount of a covenant made with God to heal my son, which led to the creation of the Miracle Plant movement aimed at helping other families in need. Over the past decade, we have been dedicated to reaching a billion people by 2025, despite facing significant resistance from the pharmaceutical and cannabis industries.
We welcome back my mom, Janet Benton-Gaillard, who shares her extensive experience working with children with mental handicaps, autism, and other neurological conditions. She emphasizes the transformative power of raw CBDA oil and its potential to address a range of neurological issues, including autism, Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, and seizures. Janet passionately discusses the challenges we face, including recent legislative hurdles in California that restrict the sale of full-spectrum CBDA oils.
Janet's frustration is palpable as she reflects on the increasing prevalence of autism and other neurological conditions in the United States. She calls for a broader dissemination of information about the benefits of CBDA and urges listeners to help spread the word. She highlights the importance of organic, raw CBDA and its superiority over processed CBD products.
We also discuss the significant pushback from the pharmaceutical industry and the FDA, which are attempting to control and limit access to effective CBDA products. Despite these challenges, we remain committed to our mission and seek support from our listeners to amplify our message.
Listeners are encouraged to visit AskJanet.org for free consultations and to share their stories. We emphasize the importance of community support and collective action to overcome the obstacles we face.
In closing, we reiterate our plea for help in spreading the message about the miracle plant and its potential to heal. We call on influential figures and the broader community to join us in our mission to reach a billion people by 2025. Together, we can heal the world.

In this episode of the Miracle Plant Podcast, Justin Benton, delves into the ongoing legal battles surrounding the use of full-spectrum CBD products in California. The episode begins with a discussion on the recent emergency law passed by Governor Gavin Newsom on September 6th, which bans full-spectrum CBD products containing any trace amounts of THC. This law contradicts both state law AB 45 and the federal 2018 Farm Bill, which define hemp as containing less than 0.3% THC.
Legal Contradictions and Actions Taken:
Justin explain how AB 45, a law he helped pass, clearly defines hemp and allows for trace amounts of THC, similar to kombucha's trace alcohol content.
The emergency law is described as overreaching and ill-advised, leading to the filing of a temporary restraining order, which was unfortunately not approved.
The next steps involve taking the case to federal court, arguing that the emergency law violates both state and federal regulations.
Synthetic THC and Industry Impact:
The episode highlights the issue of synthetic THC, particularly Delta-8 THC, which is not naturally occurring in the cannabis plant and has been banned in several states, including California.
He discusses how some companies' misuse of synthetic THC has given cannabis lobbyists an opportunity to push for restrictive measures, potentially influenced by political contributions.
Personal and Business Implications:
He shares personal anecdotes about living in California and the impact of the new law on our business, 101 Hemp.
Despite the legal challenges, our store in Ventura remains open, and their have contingency plans to continue serving our customers, including shipping from other states like Arizona.
Historical Context and Advocacy:
The episode provides a historical overview of hemp's legal status in the U.S., from its use during World War II to its re-legalization in 2014 and 2018.
He emphasizes the importance of keeping cannabis raw and natural, citing scientific research on the benefits of whole-plant consumption.

"California Bans Full Spectrum CBD: What It Means and How We're Fighting Back"
Justin Benton discusses the recent ban on Full Spectrum CBD in California, passed as an emergency law by Governor Gavin Newsom. He brings in Patrick Goggin, a prominent hemp attorney and advocate, to explain the details and implications of the ban. The law restricts the sale of hemp products containing any detectable levels of THC, making full-spectrum CBD effectively illegal in California, even though it was previously legalized under state and federal laws like AB 45 and the 2018 Farm Bill.
Goggin explains that this law is driven by lobbying interests, particularly from Big Cannabis and potentially the FDA, aiming to monopolize THC products. The law affects not only hemp-derived products but also basic hemp goods like protein powder and seed oil, which have been deemed safe by the FDA. He highlights that a lawsuit has already been filed challenging the law, seeking a preliminary injunction to stop its enforcement. However, until the courts rule, the emergency regulations remain in effect.
Benton and Goggin emphasize the significance of full-spectrum CBD, which contains the full entourage of cannabinoids and is crucial for many people's health and wellness. They also stress the moral obligation to fight back against this law, which they believe could harm millions of Californians, particularly families who rely on full-spectrum CBD for health reasons.
Justin concludes the episode with a call to action for listeners to support legal efforts, including donating to the US Hemp Roundtable’s litigation fund, and participating in advocacy campaigns to reverse the ban and protect access to hemp products in California.

"California’s CBD Crisis: Emergency Law and the Fight for Full-Spectrum Hemp"
Justin Benton discusses the recent announcement by California Governor Gavin Newsom regarding an emergency law that would ban the sale of CBD products containing any intoxicating cannabinoids, including THC. He expresses frustration with the decision, noting that it contradicts federal law, which allows CBD products with less than 0.3% THC to be sold. The law threatens to limit access to full-spectrum CBD, which many believe is far more effective than isolated CBD due to the "entourage effect," where all cannabinoids work together for maximum benefits.
Justin believes the driving force behind this emergency law is the influence of marijuana dispensaries and lobbyists, who want to control the CBD market and push consumers toward dispensary-sold products, which often contain higher THC levels. He argues that these products are primarily designed to get users high, rather than offer the health benefits sought by those using CBD for pain, stress, or sleep.
He highlights the challenges faced by the hemp industry, noting that some people have exploited loopholes by creating synthetic THC products like Delta-8, leading to backlash and stricter regulations. Justin emphasizes that the whole plant, raw, cold-pressed CBD (with all cannabinoids intact) is the most beneficial for health, particularly for those with serious conditions like autism, as seen with his own son.
He urges listeners to submit public comments and stories about how full-spectrum CBD has improved their lives, and he mentions the possibility of suing the state if the law passes. He laments the greed and corporate interests that undermine the true benefits of CBD and calls for collective action to prevent the restriction of access to this "miracle plant."

"Securing Access to Potent CBDA: Protecting Your Health Amid Legislative Changes"
Justin Benton discusses the immense potential of the "miracle plant" (cannabis/hemp) and the importance of accessing its products before potential legislative restrictions. He explains that stronger cannabis products, like those containing CBDA (the raw, unheated form of CBD), can be significantly more effective for treating severe health conditions like cancer, citing scientific research and personal testimonials.
Justin highlights a current offer allowing customers to purchase high-potency raw CBDA products at a discounted price for 12 months. He emphasizes that pending federal and California state bills may soon limit the availability of these products. To safeguard access, Justin offers a subscription plan that locks in a price up to 85% off retail for unlimited high-strength CBDA products, including a 12,800 mg oil, for a one-time payment of $997.
Justin critiques the pharmaceutical industry's dominance, which he says is threatened by cannabis due to its natural effectiveness and lack of side effects. He encourages listeners to take advantage of this offer, noting that this "miracle plant" is revolutionizing healthcare by supporting the body’s endocannabinoid system.
