When we are in a state of not knowing, we open to the vastness of our consciousness and the flows of reality. When we are busily directing and checking things off our lists, we by necessity shut out a lot of input. As they say, to everything there is a season. A season of list-doing and a season of flowing with what is. When we are in a place of truly not knowing we can simply be, following the flows of what we connect to in the moment. Standing in the unknown, ready to embrace what is to come, we surrender to the beauty and power of beingness.
We return to the fullness of our breath practice today. We also close with a few words from The Dear Ones: These are not my words but those of a friend and regular meditator on this podcast. She transcribes for those that call themselves The Dear Ones. ”Let us walk together, arm in arm, open to the beauty around us, seeing/hearing/smelling the magnificence that surrounds us. Understand that you are an equally magnificent part of what is around us. Enjoy the experience and relax, trust the help that is sent to you, that is on its way, that you have already received, that have put things into motion for the highest good and your own benefit. Trust it so that you do not have to worry about outcomes--call upon us to help smooth your way. Notice your feelings; acknowledge them, and continue practicing faith so that you can connect strongly and closely to those with you. Just be. Be who you are, allow others to be who they are, see them, acknowledge the difference they want to make. Listening and connecting is a tremendous gift that you offer. Many people go through the day without ever feeling understood. Welcome each person, each opportunity, all the energy sent toward you, all the love. When you feel anxiety or worry, come to the present moment--breathe deeply. Open yourself to newness and a fresh start--it is there every moment and is the gift of the present. Be aware of your movements and all that you express. Move gently, with kindness, respect, and dignity. These qualities will bless you as well as those around you. Allow yourself to slow down to the present, breathe deeply of the universe and love coming toward you, and of the wonders that surround you. You are equally wondrous. Be a gift to those you encounter.”
