Jacob Dubois was a young man in the prime of his life– silly, compassionate, and engaged to be married to the love of his life, Jali. Late one evening, his friend, Ethan Beckman, called and asked Jacob to hang out. Jali stayed up all night waiting for him to return. But, he never did. Now, Jali and Jacob’s mother, Silvia, are left to piece together what happened that night.

In this episode Tim Pilleri, Lance Reenstierna and Jennifer Amell speak about the disappearance and recovery of David Zachary Koenig.

David Zachary Koenig was an up-and-coming amateur MMA fighter in the Branson, Missouri area. After a family fight, David left his mother’s house to live out of a motel. On February 8, 2020, David disappeared leaving behind only a bag of bullets in his motel room. Nearly two years later, David’s skeletal remains were found in a forest near Branson. Why and how David Koenig died remains a mystery.
