This week we spent some time reviewing the inductees into the MGA Hall of Fame. It is another very impressive class and shows what a rich history Mississippi has in the world of golf. We also spent time looking back at the JUCO programs and their performances during the 2019 Fall Season. With 3 teams ranked in the Top 10 it is safe to say that the JUCO programs in Mississippi will have something to say this Spring when the National Championship is decided. Lastly, we bring you the 3rd installment from JP Guidry and his Pillars of Golf Fitness and Performance (you can find this at about the 24 minute mark). 

Tons of great content in this weeks episode that you will not want to miss. 

This week we breakdown the fall seasons on the smaller division schools in Mississippi. Was a lot of fun to dig into some of the teams and athletes in the state that may not get the recognition that they deserve. 
Also we have the 2nd installment from JP Guidry where he shared one of his pillars of Golf Performance. 

This week we looked back at the fall seasons of the Men's and Women's golf programs of Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Southern Miss. All 6 of the programs had some definite bright spots and are all working hard to position themselves for a strong spring season and a run a conference championships and national tournament berths. 

We also introduce a new fitness segment from JP Guidry with Guidry Golf and Sport. This is the first in a 6 part series that will focus on JP's "Pillars of FItness"

Lots of good stuff this week that you won't want to miss. 

This week we were able to catch up with Kyle Ellis the Director of Instruction at the Country Club of Oxford. Kyle is doing great things in Oxford and has a great story that weaves all through Mississippi Golf, from his early years to playing at Ole Miss and then coaching at Ole Miss and now at the Country Club of Oxford. 

This is a great episode that you aren't going to want to miss. 

This week we were joined by Hayden Buckley from Tupelo, MS. In his brief professional career to this point, Hayden has competed in PGA Tour Events, KornFerry Tour Events, and Mackenzie Tour - Canada events. He is coming off of great season on the PGA Mackenzie Tour - Canada last summer where he finished top 10 in the season long money list. That finish has secured him a spot on the Korn Ferry Tour for the 2020 season. He is busy preparing for the final stage of the Korn Ferry Tour Q School where he has a chance to greatly improve his status for the 2020 KF Tour. 

Hayden is an incredible story about hard work and perseverance as he works towards his ultimate goals. You will not want to miss this conversation with Hayden. 

We tried out a new format this week. We are joined by Sanford Moore in what we are calling the "19th Hole." Just imagine sitting around with friends after a round and just talking about golf and laughing. This was really fun and we discussed everything from 6 Man Scrambles in the Delta, to volunteering with PGA Live and lots of things in between. This week we caught up TPI Fitness certified Physical Therapist JP Guidry of Guidry Golf and Sport to talk how fitness plays a vital role for all types of golfers. JP shared his knowledge about why fitness is so important to the golf game and how everyone should find some time to focus on their fitness. This week we spend some time recapping the 2019 edition of the Sanderson Farms Championship. It was a great week and the we think that Mississippi and the Country Club of Jackson definitely put their best foot forward serving as host for this event. Sebastian Munoz birdied his 72nd hole to force a playoff and goes on to win this years event in a play off over Sung-Jae Im.
