The week we discuss the list of committed players at the Sanderson Farm Championship, the Walker Cup, and other golf news, but we spent the majority of the episode talking with Easton Key the Head Men's Golf Coach at Delta State University (starts at the 15:00 mark) and his outlook on the upcoming golf season for the Statesmen. This week we talk a little Korn Ferry Tour Finals, who got their Tour Cards, and who did not. Also we talked more about who we may be seeing at the Sanderson Farms Championship in a few weeks. But this week we spent the majority of our time talking with the Southern Miss Head Men's Golf Coach, Eddie Brescher as he talked about his team, his summer and the upcoming season for the Golden Eagles. It is always great to catch up with coaches and you will love this interview. 

Join us this week as we take a look back at the history Sanderson Farms Championship (and all it's previous titles) as we dig a little deeper in to some of our favorite champions of all time. 

A couple of Mississippians put on a show at the 2019 US Amateur Championship at Pinehurst in North Carolina. Andy Ogletree of Little Rock, MS became the first Mississippian ever to win the US Am and also 17 year old Cohen Trolio of West Point, MS became the youngest player to reach the Semifinal matches in over 25 years. Both young men did themselves and our state proud.  We are excited to see what the future holds for each of them. 

In this weeks episode, Paul and Matt cover a lot of different topics. Everything from The US Women's Am that was hosted by Old Waverly, and one of our former guests came in clutch as the caddie for the eventual champion. We also discussed Hayden Buckley's first pro win in Canada over th weekend. The KornFerry Tour wrapped up it's regular season this week and 3 Mississippians are headed to the playoffs in search of their PGATour cards. Also there are 4 Mississippians representing at the US Amateur this week in Pinehurst, NC so we will be keeping tabs on them as well. Finally we took a look ahead to the Sanderson Farms Championship that is just a little over a month away.

She served as the Executive Director of the Mississippi Golf Association for almost 20 years and has recently transitioned into the role of Executive Director of the First Tee of Central Mississippi. We were super excited to get Margo on the podcast and she did not disappoint.
