Thanks for listening to Mixing Up Midlife, a podcast for Women in their 50's & beyond
What happens when you ask a vulnerable question about your life as an empty nester on TikTok ? Our guest, Erica Schulte King found out when she opened up on the social media app about finding it tricky making new friends. The comments that she got in her now viral video, encouraged her to take action and to arrange a meet-up of women in Minnesota who were interested in creating connections, too. She also formed a company, built a website and formed an advisory board with some of the women from that meet up to take this idea further .
We know you'll love Erica as much as we did and we encourage you to follow along on this journey. She's going to be doing great & good things.

What scares you and keeps you up at night? On today's show we talk to a listener and fellow podcaster, Anna Garrison, who isn't scared when she meets "spirited" friends. Join us as Anna tells us her experiences photographing homes where some of the past residents still reside. Melissa is afraid of the top two most common things that scare people, but clowns, which are not on the top 5 list, freak both Terri and Melissa out. How about a jump-scare or a haunted forest? Oh, and Happy 3 year anniversary to Mixing Up Midlife. Thanks so much for listening!
